Excellent product - it does not shift its tilt angle when I tighten the tilt clamp (which my old Bogen head did). At the low price I could buy one every year and still be pleased. When used on a tripod with a center column it tilts way up - ideal for the 2024 solar eclipse. When on a plain H.D. tripod like a classic Gitzo, it cannot tilt so high because the handle fouls the tripod top (base).

I have been shopping and trying spotting scoped for my heavy spotting scope forever now and I FINALLY FOUND A GOOD ONE! Just to clarify this is a review for two different items. The three-legged stand shown in the pictures, and the panning head that is mounted on top also shown in the picture. Everything is made of cnc'd aluminum and is thick and sturdy. Just for a reference, my spotting scope is 76.6oz or 4.5lbs. AND THIS THINGS IS ROCK SOLID!!!! The three-legged base is rated for 176lbs and they mean it! The panning head rotates 360 degrees and has a tensioner to lock it in place. It also rotates forward and backward with the same quality. It also has a quick connect/disconnect base that you can attach to your camera or spotting scope. it then quickly slides in the tracks and locks firmly into the panning head. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. ******Just to clarify again, there are two different items here. You need to purchase the three-legged base, and the panning head that attaches to the three-legged base.****** MY ONLY COMPLAINT, is the three colored disc. There are two blue and the red/pink one. Seriously why wouldn't you make them black!?! But whatever I will paint them black.

I wanted a fluid head but didn’t want to break the bank. Mounted this to Slik Pro Al-234 legs. Bonus points for the sharp black and blue color scheme, matched the Slik perfectly. This head is a good head for the money, but it’s not high end by any means. The Arca Swiss plate works well, as the the vertical camera position. The horizontal pan works well, very smooth. The vertical pan is two or three times stiffer, that’s my only complaint. The knobs feel a bit cheap, and the handle feels cheap and should be a bit longer. For the money, I haven’t seen anything that beats this. It’s fairly heavy, and paired with the Slik legs it feels very stable.

I was a world class professional photographer for many years and I only bought the best quality equipment!!! Not involved in the industry anymore I recently have been dabbling in video and needed a video head mount since I like to do a lot of work with a tripod to keep everything steady and also because when using a tripod you can control the framing of a shot a lot better. I purchased this head because it looked solid and although it appeared in the picture to be good for small format work when It arrived I took it out of the box and was surprised to find a really high quality piece of equipment capable of handling bigger formats. All the materials are of excellent quality and this is something I would have been proud to own when I was in the business!!! For the price this is a steal so don't hesitate. Another great feature is the quick release. This is something I used a lot when I was working and part of my secret to success was the ability to change my setup quickly and that's what a quick release allows. In the past I have paid around $50 per quick release so here you not only get that but an entire video head to boot for much less...

I was very surprised at the high quality for the price. It is very smooth with no play whatsoever. I am going to buy another one for another tripod. Definitely an upgrade from what I had.

I bought this for my video setup because having something to quickly go from landscape to portrait mode is great for content creators. This was well priced vs others but during use, it was lacking. To explain: I have a A7IV on a cage. I put it on this tripod had and when in portrait orientation, it creeps down and doesn’t maintain its position. For this reason I give it 1 star. It doesn’t meet specifications and for that I returned the item. If you want something better, look at the NEEWER version, it’s sturdy and has similar benefits at a competitive price.

Wanted to like this but unfortunately didn't go 90 degree vertical maybe a bad unit... had to return it but no problems otherwise seemed pretty good but it is 1/2 plastic I think the turning rods were forgot since it was a few weeks ago.

Here is a photo that warns anyone who plans to mount this on a flat surface instead of on a tripod that the angle of the handle will not allow it to shoot straight ahead. The handle angle cannot be adjusted. So use it on a rail or tripod only where the handle can go lower than the pan head mount. I just got it so will check it out tomorrow. UPDATE Oct 24, 2021: I mounted it using a "CAMVATE 5/8'' Male to 1/4'' Female Microphone Screw Adapter with Bottom Pedestal Mount" that I had purchased for another setup. You can purchase it here at Amazon. The screw that mounts into the microphone adapter fits perfectly into this pan head mount IF it is mounted like I did -- onto a 4-inch-wide solid wooden rail. The microphone unit then uses two wood screws to mount it solidly into the wood. Works great and today's left and right pans were smooth. With that setup, the handle can go lower than the pan head mount for almost 180-degrees when shooting forward. The Sony 4K camera shown in my photo has a gimble-floating lens, so that also helped to make very smooth camera movements. Perfect for what I need. I can attach another photo later. Five Stars!

Got this wireless CarPlay adapter and it works great! It connects to my car quickly, usually within 7-10 seconds, and the connection stays stable without any lag. I can still use all the original controls like music, maps, calls, and Siri, which makes it super convenient. Setup was really easy — just plug it in, pair your phone once, and it connects automatically after that. I also like that it comes with a Type-C to HDMI adapter, so it works with different car ports. The size is compact and doesn’t take up space. If your car already has wired CarPlay, this is a great way to go wireless and ditch the cables. Definitely happy with it!

I really like this dongle because its nice and small and out of the way. I installed this in my mom's Acura RDX and thanks to the placement of the USB port, it's out of sight and out of mind. She now no longer needs to plug her phone in, which over time also becomes loose. Now within 10 seconds of her starting the car, the phone (Pixel 8 Pro) connects to the dongle and she's ready to use it. The pairing process isn't the easiest for some reason and can only connect to one device at a time from what it seems but for the price, I would highly recommend it.
