I purchased this moka pot in September 2025. Now this moka pot is different from the ones I've had previously. The funnel is 2 pieces and not one forged piece of metal like my smaller ones. And that is where things structurally failed while making coffee this morning. After 20 minutes of barely sputtering, I carefully unscrewed everything and there's is the shaft of the funnel in the bottom of the water chamber. It would be ok if the 2 pieces could be screwed back together but they can not. They used a friction fit and not a proper weld. I'm seriously disappointed that not even 5 months of almost daily morning use and proper care this moka pot is now not usable.

This is my first Moka Pot, & I was going to return it, due to it being so small, until I did more research. As it turns out, I love this thing. I bought Starbuck's decaf Sumatra, & had it ground at #4, as suggested by a friend, and it's amazing. I went through all the steps, according to an Italian website, to season it properly. The flavor is amazing. The pot works great, & I love the color.
