Performance is great, good for yard work. Assembly is very easy.

Works well in hard soil. I tilled up the area where my chickens were held. The soil was compacted, it did really well! I am a 61 year old woman and I love that I can handle it. I have been enjoying being able to till up my large garden area on my own.It was very easy to assemble.The battery outlasts me! I'm so happy about this purchase. I would recommend this for "backyard farmers".

Not a bad little tiller. It does a good job, but gets hung up on vines and sticks easily. If you have prepared the area and gotten rid of debris that will choke it, it works well. You aren't going to break through tree roots with it, but it will turn your dirt over easily as long as you know what you have. The batteries lasted over 45 minutes of constant use.

This works great. All my garden machinery is run by battery so I wanted the rototiller to as well. They are hard to find.This one worked perfectly for a space I uncovered that had decorative rocks on it. And therefore hard dirt underneath. When I started to till, dead wood came up. Turns out there were once trees there. I started getting large pieces out with a shovel.Where I wanted to put plants, I was able to dig down into the ground to as far as I needed by tilting the tiller forward into the dirt.Very pleased with it. I bought it to level my grass area that slopes. I’m confident it will work fine for that.

This is a fabulous rototiller for its size. I’m 80 yrs and easily put it together myself and tilled up a flower garden with hard red clay by myself. It’s easy to use, excellent quality and was easy to clean and put away. I’m so glad I bought it.

This cultivator has pins that do not keep the blades in place. Which means the blades could come off when you use it. There was no mention in the instructions of the guard that is in the box or how to put it on. The screw was missing also for the guard. When I opened the box I noticed there was no packing. The two batteries were just tossed in the box along with all the other parts. It was a jumbled mess when I received it. I could tell that someone had already received this cultivator but returned it. The fact that the pins do not stay to keep the blades on the cultivator, could be a lawsuit in the future. It really irritates me that I paid full price for something that someone else received before me. It was not new. I used Amazon a lot but I am going to think twice about what I buy from Amazon for now on. I gave it one star but it doesn't deserve one star.

Easy and lightweight

This is the perfect tiller for an elderly woman, like me, who can no longer dig and hoe a garden plot. It has plenty of power, but doesn’t drag you along with unnecessary rpm’s. My only complaint is the booklet that comes with it really has no ‘user’ manual other than assembling the tiller when you unpack it, and then page after page of warnings about the batteries and common sense safety about cleaning the tines, etc. If someone has never installed batteries, or used cordless equipment they may not even be able to figure out where the batteries go, or that you need to depress the button on the inside of the handle to start the thing. I’ve only used this tiller once, so far, but it does the job of tilling my garden quite well.
