Fish, shrimp and snails alike love it.
I can't comment on the nutritional value as I don't have any data, but I've not seen such a feeding frenzy with anything I gave my fish so products gets my 5 stars.

Fish love them but packaging awful
These wafers are the same diameter as most algae wafers but a lot thinner and almost crumbly to the touch, they start to disintegrate quite quickly after putting them in the tank which is why some people report that they cloud the water. For me however this hasn't been a problem as my fish LOVE them! My bristlenoses almost pounce on them when I put them in and I now have to put in a couple of extras as my mollies, angelfish and Congo tetras also enjoy them. They are actually so light that my Congo tetras pick them up and swim around the tank with them in their mouths! The reason I have only given 4 stars is the packaging, They come in a bag, within another bag, then a cardboard envelope, none of which protects the wafers resulting in at lease 1/3 being crushed to dust

Good value compared to name brand, but they’re so thin I have to use twice as many each time.
Somewhere along the lines I went from having two bristlenose plecs in my aquarium to an explosion of dozens of them and suddenly I’m a breeder of them. At any one time there are at least thirty of them in my tank and I sell them/trade them at my local fish shop. These things are up to to 15cm long, and that a lot of big mouths to feed. As you can imagine, I get through a lot of algae wafers. I’ve always bought King British wafers from Amazon, and have always been happy with the results. I actually have them set up on a Subscribe and Save, such is how often I buy them. While searching for some other stuff for the tank I came across these Herons wafers which were quite a lot cheaper than the King British product and decided to give them a go. Compared directly with the King British product they’re quite a lot smaller. Not necessarily in circumference, but very much so in depth. For a single pleco they’re perfectly fine, but for multiple fish there’s not enough. They vanish very quickly. I typically drop four wafers in every evening of the King British, but I’ve been putting eight in of the Heron’s product. So, while it is better value, I’m getting through them at a rapid rate.
