These pencils are amazing. Very rich buttery colours. A fabulous colour palette to cover most of not all eventualities. An Amazon gem. If you are just starting, these are professional colours at a fantastic price.

Bought this large selection to try and overcome my 'fear' of colour. Did a swatch of all them, both dry and wetted, and was really impressed with their watercolour quality.The colouring sheets images have so many different sections that they are really helping me to experiment with colours. Hopefully this will translate into my own creations!I am finding them really nice to work with. I know some have commented that they are not suitable for professional artists but the quality for the price is amazing if you want to have a go with watercolour pencils.Highly recommended!

An excellent set of watercolour pencils, easy to use. They can be used dry like ordinary coloured pencils or on stretched paper while the paper is still damp draw and the colour spreads, you can also use a small spray bottle with water in it to keep the drawing paper moist/wet for your desired effect If you want more control, sketch out part of your drawing and using a damp watercolor brush blend the colours. For best results you must use stretched paper it may wrinkle a little when using a wet brush but when it dries out it stretches flat and wrinkles free. Well pleased with the pencils a fine selection of colours. It makes a fine change to work with them instead of using acrylic paints.

These water colour crayons are nice, to use, and they come with a lovely little brush. They have a very peculiar smell, that i cant place, but its very strong, ! and also its hard even with all the colours in the 72 pack to make a flesh coulor ,as in the reds, the light pinks are quite yellow, so mixing them to make a flesh colour is difficult ..however they are interresting ,and as they state, very unique ! not sure id purchase again, due to the peculiar smells

I like these pencils worked as well as expensive brands. However I notice I have to sharpen some one them more. This is my second box, so for a good cheaper option to branded pencils then I recomend these.

Well, you get what you pay for.The pencils are very nice looking in the tin......... Using them is something else!I found the pencils very hard to get colour to attach itself to the paper, the core is very hard, not soft as I expected them to be.The colours are wishy-washy at best. Adding water doesn't really improve the look of the colours.I am disappointed in the pencils as after doing swatches, I consider these fit only for children, not serious craft workers or artists.My Grandchildren will get these to play with.The photo shown for this product are very miss-leading.
