I almost didn't get this because of a few reviews that I read saying this wasn't as pictured or was super flat, this was not at all the case for this and it did get even fluffier after waving it around and tumbling it on low in my dryer. The product says 75% feathers and 25% down. We did order a mattress duvet insert protector to go with this incase some of the feathers leaked out and got all over the place and it is the first feathered bedding product me and my husband have ever owned and neither of us knew if we would be allergic so it was a (just in case) kinda purchase to go with this. I ordered the grey king size duvet because it was cheaper than all of the rest of the color options and they had a 50% off coupon so we took advantage of the sale so we only spent $43 total on this 75% feathered duvet insert which is kind of unbeatable for the price. I was worried that this might be to heavy for my husband who sleeps hot but he loves it and has had no complaints. This one isn't loud and crinkled and doesn't make any noise like we're stated in some of the negative reviews. This is such a high quality duvet insert that I honestly couldn't believe we got such a good deal on it. The double stitching is so good and we haven't seen one feather come out of it even during shaking it to try and get it to fluff up. Even after sleeping with it and having it for the last three days and I'm going to attribute that to the 100% cotton cover that they made around it which is really well made and very expensive quality. This was a steal and a deal and the best thing I have bought on Amazon so far. It is just what we were looking for and needed. Pictures just don't do this insert justice. As far as feel goes and warmth I would give ten stars. It's heavy enough for me and light enough for my husband who sleeps hot. Also I should mention the protective cover we purchased to go with this weighed 3lbs and this duvet insert was 4.5 lbs so it did weigh a little heavier with the allergy protector added ( we definitely don't mind the extra weight :) but it wasn't at all fun putting all three of this comforter pieces together. The duvet insert, the duvet protector, and the duvet cover. So all in all this was perfect and a wonderful buy for the money. Would definitely buy another one for a Friend or relative as a gift. I do love how you can use this as a stand alone blanket and not add all of the things we chose to add because it was perfectly comfortable just as is but I wanted to ad my adorable jersey soft cover to make it even better. But I do love that you have the choice available to use it as is and it be just as amazing. Also has no smell at all. Long story short definitely buy this one, it's perfect! (The pictures just don't do this blanket justice)

As you can tell in one of the pictures, I am a mountain, cold weather resident. I have purchased and used a variety of down blankets throughout my lifetime, and this is hands down, one of the BEST, WARMEST, SOFTEST, and most COMFORTABLE down blankets I've ever owned and used. Not the cheapest; not the most expensive either. I keep my heater on very low in the cold nights because excessive heat causes me to overheat and dehydrate. Underneath the down blanket, I have flannel sheets and two quilts. To keep warm, usually I have to pile on 4-5 blankets to stay warm. I was better suited to be a cold-blooded animal because I'm always cold! The down blanket provides the perfect insulation in the cold nights to stay nice and warm.I've only had the blanket for a few days now, and you can still see the wrinkles in the blanket. Over time, the wrinkles will smooth out and all of the feathers will fluff nicely. I do recommend, as well as the directions, to gently massage or shake the blanket to get it fluffy. Since I purchased the king size, I had to stand on my couch so that I could raise it high enough to shake. It fluffed up almost immediately. The instructions sheet states that it might have a peculiar smell that is typical of down blankets, and that it should be aired out for a few days.. To be honest, mine had virtually no smell to it. I just put in on my bed and used it later that night.It arrived from Amazon in a nice box set, which included a storage bag for the comforter during the summer months. Great product. I would highly recommend this blanket.

This product is very well made and compares to the quality of a lightweight down comforter I bought at Target - only this one was $60 less! This item is not fluffy / puffy like in the photos but please know that when you buy a lightweight or all season down comforter, you should not expect it to be super fluffy. The fill power and the warmth-level / weight will determine it's fluffiness. If you want ultra warmth, it'll be puffy! I live in HI, so I bought lightweight and all season comforters. Therefore, I was not expecting poofy! (I only say this because of the many reviews that are disappointed in the low-level of poof.) I sleep on top of it, it keeps me cooler than just sleeping on top of the mattress and the softness and slight poof are more comforting to me than my firm mattress. But I also have another lightweight down comforter inserted inside my linen duvet cover; so, when I get cold, I can cover up. It keeps the air circulating so I am never too hot, like with polyester. If you can overlook some of the English mistakes in the advertising and the question/answer section, and take a chance on this product, and manage your expectations of poofiness, you will find that this product is top quality and easy on the wallet. It is thin, warm, with a little bit of poof (but not a lot!), and an excellent bedding choice. The end.

The only thing I do not like about this comforter is the texture because I am a texture sensitive person. But I bought a duvet cover of a texture that I love so it’s not that big of a deal. Other than that this comforter is very comfortable. Not too cold, not too hot, I feel like it is breathable

I spent weeks searching and reading reviews to find a new duvet that was exactly what we wanted and this one does not disappoint. I was especially determined to buy one that was a color other than white/black/grey so the green made it that much better! I’m also super picky not to buy duvets that are filled with more feathers than down which seems to be very rare to find. This duvet is fantastic quality, outer shell is incredibly comfortable, fill is perfect and the color matched the pictures 100%. When it comes time to replace this one in the future I will definitely be reordering. 10/10 for sure!

If you are looking for it to do the job, then go for it. It is not the most comfortable and it does not bend or compress like blankets and duvets usually do.

Not all the filling is Down so it very heavy. Not filled as advertised. Photo shows 9 squares in width. We received 8 squares and it does not look as advertised. It was not advertised as made in China. How are we expected to package and return it from Canada?
