Exactly what I was hoping for. the roughly 4' length allows me to simply throw it over a my head and carry it across my torso so the bike itself does not feel any heavier. Keyless is a huge plus as I don't like to have to carry a set of keys with me. Form, function, durability.....easy to use. What else could you really ask for in a bike lock. Did I mention if your bike is stolen they have a $500 cash back?

Good bike lock for medium security needs. I wouldn't use it for an extended time period like overnight outside in a poorly lit area. Open end fits through the loop of a cable allowing additional protection of wheels and frame. It's heavy but that's a good thing!

Super quality however it’s only of value if you regularly lock up to a designated bike rack. It’s not long enough to wrap around most alternative things.

This is a good bike for general use around a small town and to keep your bike safe from kids/etc while you pop in the shop if you live in a good neighborhood. This is NOT an use in Oakland/Bronx bike other than for just the front wheel. This bike is NOT good enough to be a deterrent if you're thinking "it'll keep thieves from going to easier targets" in those neighborhood. This is a lock you can cut yourself if you forget the combo/etc. Cough up for the evolution (10mm) link [will probably require multiple cuts from a bolt cutter or powered grinder] or the New York series [...probably too much of a PITA for thieves] for that. This chain is already heavy so the additional weight vs. safety is not that much of a factor.

Love the product, very durable and a great size. However it didn't come with instructions, just the packaging. After some googling found out they usually use 0-0-0-0 or 0-0-0-5 for the default code. The end slides up, then shift the silver button upwards to reset the code
