A beautiful ukulele that makes a grest sound

I have seen an online review for the acacia version of this ukulele which was rather unenthusiastic. However, I thought I would buy the magoany version, which was considerably cheaper. It's an all laminate instrument but to my mind is very well finished with good quality tuners and the richlite fingerboard is a plus point in my opinion. The set up is very good with a correct sting height. My main criticism is that it is rather quiet and the fitted strings are very low tension, and some of the fret ends are slightly prominent. Otherwise, great value

Love my Caramel Ukulele

Very poor The good - looks attractive - nice grain, nice modern shape The bad. Gloss applied by the bucketload - super thick, gloopy and almost milky in certain light Bridge is roughly finished Saddle set so low that if one wanted to reduce the string action it would be impossible (a flaw in the way the neck is set) - this is fatal One of the worst looking fingerboards i've ever seen - they simply did not remove the polish - looks cloudy white Really scruffy slots in the headstock - unfinished Low volume, average sustain, thin tone. A lot of these gripes are cosmetic and can be tidied - the issue with saddle cannot.

Unfortunately not as good as it looks. Mines arrived and it had already been played! It had Indentation marks on the strings from the frets and the strap looks like it had been already fitted. I have been playing the ukulele for about 6 years now and have a few ukulele's but unfortunately this didn't even measure up to my cheapest one I bought for half the price of this one. I don't know if it is the strings it comes with but the feel just isn't right. Sorry

Great looking, nice sound and good value for money.

This is a gorgeous instrument with beautiful tone. I bought this and a Kala for my daughter's first ukulele. The Kala came with nothing. This came complete with a case, tuner, strings, straps, picks, etc. The Kala also didn't look or play as nice. The strings on the Kala buzzed. The Kala was also a lot quieter. This Caramel has a sweeter, richer, more robust sound. No comparison and this one cost less. I ended up returning the Kala, and buying another Caramel for my younger daughter as well. The instrument and value is incredible.

I did a lot of research before buying this beautiful ukulele & Im glad I did. The sound is amazing, the quality of the workmanship & beautiful grain of the wood are outstanding! Definitely worth every penny. Tuning has been good so far. I expect it to stay for longer periods the more I use it. It is easy to use. Comes with carrying case, tuner & a few other handy items that were listed.

Love this ukulele, good craftsmanship for an inexpensive piece, very good tone, very happy with it.

This is a beautiful instrument and looks as good as it does in the photo. Sounds great and seems to stay in tune so far.
