Quorn Vegetarian Mince 500g (frozen)

My partner and I are vegetarians, so I use a lot of pulses and Soya. But Quorn, of any type has been brilliant to discover this year! Highly recommended, and a blood free cheap treat, that you can use in anything.

This is gluten-free and great value for money if you keep it frozen and only take out a portion needed for each meal. I use it for pasta dishes mainly and also in curry's and shepherds pie. It can be cooked from frozen and added straight into pasta or curry sauce. It doesn't need much cooking only about 5 minutes. For making shepherds pie I add the Quorn mince to Morrisons brand gluten-free beef flavoured gravy.

Comes very clogged together so takes a while to separate which makes it harder to cook.

We gave this a try instead of minced meat, and it was delicious. Our picky teenage son didn’t even realise it wasn’t meat! We can now have meat free meals with our son even realising!

I always love this product. I use it for various dishes but mainly spaghetti bolognese. I will take a foto next time!

A staple in my home. It is so versatile treated the same way you would with meat mince, use for bolagnese; wraps, taco topping; lasagne or of course add it to anything you want. Lovely texture, tastes great of course much healthier for the planet than meat.
