for the price point, this was a good product easy to assemble and looks good over my garden shed area. One small kink is I found a little moisture finding its way into the cells of the plastic insert but other than that again at this price point this is a very good product

If you don't like assembling Ikea furniture, think twice. The pictorial instructions are nearly worthless. You must remove four protective sheets, or they will curl and look ugly in the UV sunlight. The best way to assemble the awnings is to fit the panels into the center joint, connect the front and rear edge pieces to a bracket (using provided screws), then slide the joined panels between those edge pieces and wiggle the panels into the slot. (There's no order of precedence indicated on the "clear and helpful" instructions.) Then you can slide the other bracket onto the bracket/panel/edge piece assembly. Once correctly assembled, they are light, sturdy, attractive and protective.

When I got it and opened ent box I was shocked at how flimsy it appeared and how hard it was to put together by myself. The pieces kept popping out. Of the frame slide. If you have someone to hold it while you screw in Tn set screws it would help I didn’t so I used the next best thing and put tape on each slide in piece of glass or plastic as I fitted them in tht slotted frame until I coil screw then together the tape held. I didn’t like tht type of drill in screws that came with it instead of self tapping ones and bought my own screws to secure it in place on the house. It’s held up very well so far.
