Nice translation of Lumatul itiqaad for the student and general, highly recommend to use book alongside his explanation of it on YouTube.

I've looked into ashari aqeedah and also maturidi aqeedah and this one is claimed to be from athri aqeedah but I don't feel like it was clear on all the beliefs and there was also no reference for the "narrations" about Allah affirming it is his kalam. Where did that narration come from? No source? Not very meaningful book but might need to go over with a teacher.

In that regard, this book follows the consistency of its actual text that meanings be not assigned to certain words and thus left in transliteration. This speaks to the translator's deep understanding of the underlying text

Anyone who is looking to gain a foundational understanding of the Athari aqidah alongside the original Arabic text with full harakat to facilitate memorization. It is also nice to read the text without long commentary that overrides the original matn, forcing the reader to go over the text with a teacher or through a class as opposed to trying to understand it on their own.
