STOP!! DON'T ORDER THIS!
STOP!! DON'T ORDER THIS. This was the first of two attempts at buying one of these electronic turds on here. They don't connect to android auto. They freeze up if they do. In the two minutes they stay connected if you try to play music it will be very choppy, until it freezes. If all you want is a Bluetooth connected aux cable for audio, that it will do (not through android auto, but just the devices native audio player). SO, when the first one was an absolute lemon (Yongeid "brand" @~$40 on Amazon) I ordered a different branded one. (PASLDA "brand" @~$65 on Amazon). I was again excited for the delivery. I opened the shipping package and much to my surprise, it was the EXACT same device. I still had the first one, waiting to return it. So I hooked it up on the mount of the first, plugged it in and bam, same POS. I wish I could recommend a proper replacement, but the search continues.

UPDATED VERSION Not worth getting this if you need AUX
UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: seller gave me a new device, and it connects to AUX. This then bumps it from a 2 stars to 3 stars. Only negative is the device makes a static sound when the music isn’t playing. I just have learned to turn down my volume when I do not need to listen to music. Original post: Bought this for Prime Day, and have had this working for about 2 months now. Good install, only took 30 mins. Around month three, the AUX port stopped working. I have to tape the AUX from the back to the front to hopefully get audio, but it no longer works. Extremely disappointed. The only function that now works is the FM transmitter, and when traveling long distances, I have to change the channel every few miles due to the cracking. My car does not have Bluetooth, so it’s not an option for me.

Almost functional, with subpar display and camera
My main criticism of this unit is the display. The maps are washed out and difficult to read. No amount of tinkering with the brightness and contrast settings can get this to look decent. Waze looks a little better than Google maps. The other thing that is annoying is that there is no compensation for day/night driving. At night the display is too bright so you have to mess with the settings to dim it at night and then turn it back up in the daytime. If you just want to listen to music at night and don't need the maps there is a button on top which turns the display off, but the audio keeps playing. I have an aftermarket stereo in my 2004 vehicle with an Aux input and it was easy to connect to that. Bluetooth also worked, but the sound quality was inferior to the Aux cable. Otherwise it seems to work fine. Spotify, Pandora play fine and the maps are working, just hard to see. I haven't tried the backup camera yet. Updating my review after installing the camera and have dropped from 3 stars to 2 stars. Impossible to see anything at night and it doesn't seem possible to calibrate the guides so they accurately show limits for side and rear. The camera image in normal daylight is pretty bad, but may be an artifact of the terrible display. Also, once the camera is hooked up anytime you put the vehicle in reverse the audio stops playing.

Won't disconnect from Bluetooth
Love this device. Only complaint is that it will not disconnect from your Bluetooth. I have to completely unplug the whole system for it to disconnect from my phone. Every time I try turning off my Bluetooth it just turns it right back on and won't disconnect even when I forget the device.

Please don't waste your money, it's unusable.
I bought 2 of these screens, one used for Android Auto, and the other used with Apple CarPlay in two separate cars. Both of the screens lock up without any user input every couple minutes. If you want to play music through the aux output, that will only make it lock up sooner and cause your music to play in broken chunks. The screen is so bad that it is nearly impossible to see in the daylight regardless of the brightness setting. The audio, when it does work, may be the worst I've ever heard. The component quality is just garbage. It is not good, at all. Don't waste your money.

Do not advise purchasing if you want a functional android auto experience.
Not only does the product ship with extremely outdated firmware installed, but the process to upgrade the firmware is alot more tedious than any other similar product ive ever owned. Whoever developed the OS on this thing was thinking "how could I make this update process ass difficult as possible for the general consumer" I wish that was the only issue i had with this, but once the device is updated to the newest firmware build, the performance doesnt get any better. Even though the update finally gets the android auto functionality to ACTUALLY connect, dont expect it to actually function when it does. Once i clicked the Android Auto function, it boots into the AA interface, and then freezes and never recovers. I was beyond my wits end at that point and finally had enough and returned the item. If u buy this to for the android auto functionality, dont.

You get what you pay for
Update: received a replacement and so far, so good. We'll see if it holds up. When it connects, it works well. I’ve used it on a trip and had no problem. BUT, after a couple weeks, it no longer automatically connects to my phone and says I need to connect. My phone shows it is connected but the device doesn’t. In order to get it to connect, I have to turn the device off and on and re-pair it. Another thing I don’t like is, yes it extends out, but it comes all the way out. There’s nothing to keep it from sliding all the way out. I didn’t realize this until it fell while I was driving one day.

Spend an extra $50. It’s worth it in the long run
Updated; Seller was super helpful in resolving my issues. Took care of refunding without and incident. I believe the seller is a great business person and would buy from them again. Thank you for taking care of my issues. Original review. It may be worth it to spend more money and have less problems 1. Maps/GPS after a week keeps freezing. (Returning product) 2. Cannot screen mirror iPhone 3. Reverse cam quality at night is terrible 4. No auto dim feature -this one is definitely annoying having to keep switching manually
