All our cats ate it.
The food definitely looks like what it is described as.A little more-watery than I'm used to (with our admittedly much cheaper food), but it definitely looks like shreds of real meat packed into broth. (Think very wet tuna fish). We have 2 outdoor farm cats (male and female) and 2 new 9-week-old kittens (male and female). All 4 ate this food without complaint (and by complaint, I mean walking away and leaving it for the chickens, just to show up later yowling for extra food at midnight).Definitely more expensive than we would be able to do (current price point is $2 for each 3 oz can) - but it appears to be high quality (and certainly better quality than the packed mush we usually get), so if the price point doesn't bother you and you want to pamper your furry buddy, I think this one is the real deal.

So Good For Your Cats
I have been buying this brand of cat food for a while and I have to tell you it is excellent. If you are concerned about the quality of the food you feed your cat then this is a great option. The important thing to look at when buying any food is the ingredient list, the items are listed in order of concentration of that ingredient. As you can see, the first ingredient is turkey, then turkey broth and then turkey liver and turkey heart, all excellent food for your cat. This product is a bit pricey but and you do pay for this quality, our little, furry friends are worth it. I usually feed my cats a lesser canned food in the morning and in the afternoon I give them the Tiki Cat food and then the other stuff in the evening. I think this is a good balance and more economical.Pro tip: When feeding the cats it is important to set a certain ambiance, I suggest lighting some tiki torches and place them around the food dishes for atmosphere!

Good texture, very meaty, cat thought it was just OK
I'm very familiar with this brand of cat food from my local pet store and it's in line with the quality of food I tend to buy my cat (grain free, high meat, shreds or in broth)Overall the texture looked excellent to me. The smell was a bit strong due to the high amount of organ meat. Sadly there isn't a fish variant, only meat and primarily poultry with added organ meat.My cat thought it was just OK. She would eat it but left a lot over compared to other grain free brands we buy. The price is slightly higher than what I usually pay for, so it's a little disappointing. But overall the quality is clearly very high given the big chunks and shreds of meat with little broth/separation.I can't for the life of me figure out what makes this "after dark" and the packaging doesn't explain. It's a mystery!

High End Cat Food looks and Smells like Real Food!
Tiki cat has a reputation of being a high end, premium quality cat food. Although it’s a hit with my big fuzzball, she’ll have to make due with it as a kibble topper.Brand Transparency: The Tiki Cat brand was purchased from Whitebridge Pet brands by General Mills in 2024 (They've also purchased other iconic brands like Blue Buffalo, so hopefully they'll keep promoting the quality that made those brands to begin with!).Accountability: The label says that this cat food “is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by AAFCO Cat Food nutrient profiles for Adult Maintenance.”Quality: This has the look and smell of real food. It’s a brown gravy/broth with visible shreds of chicken and rabbit meat and the harder to identify chicken liver & heart. Ingredients also include salt, guar gum and multiple vitamins and minerals. Instructions are to feed 2.5 cans per 7 lbs of cat per day. If the average cat is 8.8-11 lbs, a big cat will need about 3.75 cans per day, over $8 per day.My Kira loves this, and using it as a kibble topper will add some variety and interest to her meals while still being affordable.

Paws Up On This One!
I have 2 cats...1 will eat anything and the other is very picky. My picky girl actually loves this food and looks forward to breakfast every morning now. As soon as I wake up she's racing to her food dish making her little squeak noises. My male cat isn't picky but does have a sensitive stomach. So far this has not irritated his stomach and he's able to keep it down. It is on the pricey side, however, it's a good quality cat food if you can't afford to make your own. The servings are just right for my year old cats. I feed them each 1 can in the morning and then dry food for the rest of the day. It doesn't have a stong smell and my cats do love the taste of it. Definitely more nutritious than other cheap brands out there. It's a win win for my fur babies!

Canned cat food
This was something different for the cats to try. Some initial hesitation but they ate it. This seems to be a good, comparable option to what we normally get for them. We'd consider getting this again if on sale.

I like it, my cat like but don't love it
TikiCat is a US-made food from a brand I've used before. I'm impressed with the ingredient list, and I've learned from the listing that this particular line of cat food is meant to approximate the diet of a wild cat eating prey. (Perhaps the "after dark" name refers to cats being nocturnal.) My cats eat this but not as readily as their usual food, I'm not sure why. I'll certainly continue buying this brand and recommend this product to those whose cats like the shreds-in-liquid format.
