These are made really well. Better than expected!

I bought this product to do the star lit ceiling in my car and was quite successful. I see a lot of reviews saying it’s a fire hazard, and it’s unreliable but I used it in my car with the ac adapter, repeatedly turned on and off, colors/modes changed consistently and responsive to remote everytime I drove. So you have to take into account this sat in a hot car everyday, and operated for at least 2 hours a day (my commute to work was 1 hour there, 1 hour back). 4 months of use into it, my car was totaled and the machine still works! Lost the fiber optics in the accident but I am satisfied that my purchase still turns on and off and the remote control functions perfectly. Solid purchase for the money, now I will repurpose this for a twinkle lit canvas.

I purchased a couple of light kits from this company and I am pleased with the products.I recently had an issue with a light unit, so I reached out to the company for help, they replied quickly and gave me the correct solution.It turns out, the issue was user error, no fault of the company.

I bought this in November and it just stopped working last month. It doesn’t respond with the app and I can’t get it to turn on. Just disappointing

First off, this unit is a LOT cheaper than any other light engines I found online, so I was prepared for a gamble.Only day of use but it's pretty good! Turns on and responds to remote with default DMX settings (mine arrived with all switches to set OFF except FUN switch set to ON).It sparked when I first connected it to power. I connected the power brick and its cable, plugged one end into the wall and then the small adapter end into the unit. Big spark at the unit's adapter port and it immediately turned on. No issues since. I now turn the light off with the remote, then unplug the power brick from the wall cable. When I connect it back up, the light is still off until I turn on with the remote.Will update my review if anything changes!

Liked the product specially for the price. Worked like a charm. Better than the upgrade version in which there is no option to turn off the changing colors.
