This Anker Prime Thunderbolt 4 cable is excellent and clearly built to a very high standard. The cable feels solid and durable straight out of the box, with a premium finish that inspires confidence compared to cheaper alternatives. I bought this cable to connect my newly purchased MacBook M4 15", which only has USB-C ports, to an external monitor. It works perfectly and delivers very good video quality — sharp, stable, and without any flickering or signal issues. Performance overall has been faultless. It provides fast, reliable data transfer and charging, with no dropouts during use. The 3.3 ft length is ideal — practical without creating unnecessary cable clutter on the desk. Build quality is another strong point. The connectors fit snugly, the cable is flexible yet robust, and it doesn’t kink or twist easily. It feels designed to last, even with frequent plugging and unplugging. Overall, this is a dependable, high-performance cable that lives up to the quality you’d expect. It may cost more than basic cables, but the performance, build quality, and peace of mind make it well worth it. Highly recommended.

Bought as a replacement for my packed in TB3 cable that came with my LG monitor. This is an Anker cable and as such, you can buy with a degree of confidence that they have not cut corners. It is just as thick as my TB3 cable, i am doing my best not to have it coiled as i suspect thats what happened to my LG TB3 cable. This TB4 cable powers my laptops as well as passing audio and video to my LG monitor. One cable to rule them all! The cost is pretty good too as the Apple cables are in excess of £70. This by no means is cheap at £30 but its not a knock off cable either.

Premium quality

It’s great for Mac users. I’m using it for a benq monitor with a MacBook Pro and it works perfectly fine. If your monitor has upstream capabilities and want to charge your laptop whilst only using one cable then this is for you. The cable length is about 1 meter which is enough. The built quality is superb like most Anker products. It’s on the expensive side but worth it. One last thing is the charging speed which is as advertised. Nothing bad to say so far.

It’s a great, reliable cable. I don’t have many opportunities to regularly take advantage of the incredible data transfer speeds, but it’s never failed to deliver on its promises when I have. On a regular basis, I mostly use it for the combo of data transfer and power delivery to use my external, portable display. This is well below its capabilities, but it’s nice to have something that could easily be used for a 4K display, thunderbolt dock, external hard drive, and more if needed. You could use it purely as a charging cable I guess, but it’s VERY thick and very stiff and inflexible compared to the type of USB-C cord you’re used to using, and unnecessarily expensive unless you’re going to take advantage of its data transfer capabilities. In which case, it’s a decent price all things considered. Comparable to competitors and significantly cheaper than Apple! Never had an issue with the connectivity at all, as long as the right ports with the right capabilities exist, you can 100% count in this cable to do its job. It’s not very long and because of its stiffness and “memory”, feels even shorter since it tends to coil up a lot. But that’s sort of the nature of the beast with a cable that can do this much. The price to manufacture one any longer while maintaining these capabilities is not simply linear; it gets really pricey!

Ich habe mit dem Kabel zuerst die Migration von meinem alten MacBook Pro auf den neuen MacBoo Pro durchgeführt und es wurden kontinuierlich hohe Übertragungsraten erreicht (> 200 Mbit /s) aber weit von den 40Gbit/s entfernt - meine Vermutung ist hier, dass dies "nur" bei reiner Datenübertragung (also ohne Handshake, Indizierung, etc.) möglich ist. Aktuell nutze ich das Kabel für die Verbindung von meinem MBP auf den Monitor und da ist die Qualität sehr, sehr gut. In jedem Fall eine Kaufempfehlung, da auch die Verarbeitungsqualität (auf den ersten Blick) hervorragend ist.
