The Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother is amazing! It has been a huge help with calming our baby and creating a soothing bedtime routine. The soft lights, gentle ocean visuals, and calming music and sounds are perfectly relaxing without being overstimulating. I love that it has multiple music and sound options, and the volume is just right. It easily attaches to the crib and feels very secure. Our baby is mesmerized by the moving sea creatures and often settles down quickly while watching them. Minor quirks but overall worth it! First off it drains C batteries, 4 to be exact. But it’s nice to play while feeding baby in middle of night or putting them down instead of a constant sound machine. My second born will fall asleep to it if I put her down drowsy. I highly recommend buying rechargeable batteries to combat this. It did get squeaky, had to YouTube a fix for it and had to take the whole back off and loosen a screw for the moving turtle and it was fixed. I guess it happens. Overall, this is part of my sleep training when I have to put my baby down and chase my toddler lol

This was a splurge even for a grandma and even at Christmas. But it is so well made. Thoughtful design, the right size for a crib or playpen or just on the floor. The shell remote is a hoot. Even the classical music (one of my fave things about B.E. toys) is wonderful. Ignore the price tag, invest in this. 2 minor issues but I believe they are justified: 1. Battery cover held on by 2 smallish screws so be forewarned if you don't have many tools or poor eyesight. But it is very secure and would never just open up from coming loose upon dropping or whatever. No battery exposure is important. 2. It takes 4 C batteries. Fortunately they don't run down quickly. There are some power-hungry-looking features, so I suspect they are needed, not just overkill power. Highly recommend.

The Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother does help my baby relax and fall asleep with its soothing lights and ocean-themed music, and I like that it’s easy to set up and doubles as both a crib toy and sound machine. The variety of sounds and gentle animations are engaging, and the controls are simple to use. You do need to buy batteries for it, which is worth noting. My only issues is that there’s a price difference between the blue and pink versions, which I think shouldn’t be the case. Despite that, it’s a high quality, calming product that works well for helping babies sleep.

Perfect for roadtrips and overall car rides, helps my son stay calm and even puts him to sleep. It has very soothing sounds, nothing that can become annoying. Quality is great, functions very well!

Other than the batteries dying after a little bit, it is perfect for our son. Very engaging for the baby during the day and at night, we use it for travel, playtime and naps. He absolutely loves this soother, it’s a must!

After several months of use, this has easily become one of our most used baby items. I originally bought the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother for our mini crib, but it didn’t fit the arched frame. Instead of returning it, we started using it in other ways - and it ended up being even more useful than I expected. Best Uses (From Our Experience) 🚗 Car rides This is where the soother truly shines. My baby is completely captivated by the lights and moving fish and almost always falls asleep watching it. The detachable remote is a huge feature - I keep it in the front seat so I can turn it on without reaching into the back. 🧸 Pack ‘n Play playtime We also use it during playtime while she’s on her play mat inside the pack ‘n play. When placed behind her head in the corner, it actually motivated her to start rolling from back to tummy so she could see it better. Pros • Very engaging lights, movement, and music for babies • Detachable remote is incredibly convenient (especially for car use) • Great for both entertainment and soothing babies to sleep • Multiple ways to use it outside of the crib • Helpful flashing red light warning when batteries are running low Cons / Product Suggestion My biggest suggestion would be adding the option for both battery power AND a plug-in outlet option. With frequent use it can go through batteries fairly quickly, so being able to plug it in when using it near an outlet would make this product absolutely perfect. Final Thoughts Even though it didn’t end up working on our mini crib, we still use it almost daily. If you’re looking for something that keeps baby entertained and helps them fall asleep (especially during car rides), this is definitely worth it.
