Excellent for keeping a hiking group in touch.
In sequoia park gave sustainable, clear connection up to about a mile and was usable to about mile and a half. That was perfect for keeping in touch a group of hikers on an 8 mile trail.Did not need any charge for the entire 3 day trip.For $10 per radio it's good enough for me.

Works okay, but CHARGING CRADLE WAS MISSING. Be cautious about that.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The walkie talkies are okay and do the trick -- but were missing the charging cradle. Only got the double charging cord. Would like to have had the cradle, which was advertised as part of the package. But other than that (getting ripping off), the walkie talkies do the trick.

Locking volume and channel feature!
Super easy to get started with right away. Very loud audio, able to lock the controls, including the volume. This prevents accidentally turning them down or changing the channel. Excellent sound quality and they feel very rugged and easy for the kids to use! I bought two sets!

Something we didn't know we needed.
My husband and I bought these to use indoors and out at our home. The range is good and battery is long lasting. We've enjoyed being able to communicate without yelling from room to room or when one is outside in the yard and the other still inside. Now, we're planning on taking them on an upcoming trip to use around our hotel when we're not in the same place or at any resort or theme park. Pleasantly surprised!

Love these radios
Love these there are great. I wish u could diable the led as the kids run down the battery. Was shipped a used one that the batteries were already installed and one belt clip was missing had to return for a new sealed one.
