Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolute game changer. Lived upstairs. Neighbors downstairs had some bass volume speakers. Feet became extremely sensitive to vibrations even with shoes on. This helps a lot with dampening that vibration. It does smell like rubber or like a fresh tire, but the smell wears out with time. Smell: Fresh tire/rubber smell. Wears out with time.

I have a large floor standing speakers, and I have wooden flooring. I needed something to put under the speakers to reduce the vibrations reverberating throughout the wooden floor. I purchased one 24"x24" pad, cut it in half and put each half under each speaker, and it worked! It virtually eliminated the bass vibrations in the wooden floors, and it seemed to improve the overall soundstage. This product is well made. My speakers weigh around 70lbs each, and this pad can hold the weight no problem. My heavy speakers do not sink into the rubber at all. I am very pleased with the performance of this product. And it is a much lower cost solution than traditional audio isolation pads that are overpriced and don't work as good, IMO.

Well done Goodhoily, this was excellent mat and really works well under my 8 inch buffer on a grinder stand. It was walking all over the cement floor. Problem SOLVED.

We just recently invested in a portable washing machine (COSTWAY Portable Washing Machine, Twin Tub 20 Lbs Capacity with washer & spinner) for out apartment (we have no water hook-ups) and have been using it in the tub. After 5 years we were tired of hauling laundry up and down three flights of stairs and four buildings down the parking lot to use the on-site laundry room. Not to mention our fellow apartment dwellers would leave the laundry room a disgusting mess. Nobody would clean their lint tray in the dryer after using it and the tops of the top load washing machines would always have hair and other bodily materials. Also the machines are older and would make our clothes smell pretty bad after a wash. Using the new machine in our apartment I felt bad for our downstairs neighbor because it would definitely vibrate the tub enough to make noise he could hear. Decide to invest some extra money into this and my god... if you're in a similar situation please do it. I know this is kind of expensive but it absolutely does it's job. It's high quality, durable and keeps the machine from not only moving but keeps it from vibrating the tub at all. You can barely tell the washing machine is even on. I've never been so excited to do laundry before! I've been a prime member for at least 10 years now and have bought hundreds if not thousands of items and only left a few reviews that I could remember and this anti-vibration mat instantly had me back on the computer writing this review.

The pad arrived quickly, well packaged. As others mentioned, it smells like new tires, lol. I unwrapped it and put it outside for a day, this helped a lot. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5...the pad is slightly too small for a standard front load washer on a base. We cut it in half, this worked just fine. The washer no longer travels across the room and is very stable and quiet. No more earthquakes when the washer is spinning!

The best at keeping the vibration off the floor. My down stair neighbor complains no more, the have reported to me that the vibrations on their ceiling is no more.

I’m glad that others have found this useful for other applications, but it did nothing to cancel the noise from my husband’s oxygen concentrator. I’ve given it 3 stars because it fits the description given for it and is a very sturdy pad, but I couldn’t give it more since for our need, it was a big ol’ failure. I will keep it anyway - maybe it will come in handy for some other use down the road. Oh, and as others have said, it smells like a tire, but only if you’re right up close.

I wasn't very hopeful that this would absorb much sound from my hubby rocking out on his Strat every night in the room directly above where I am working, but the sound is almost undetectable now. I highly recommend if you have an electric guitar amp, speakers, etc. Your neighbors, family, etc will love you for being so considerate.

Amazing Pad. My neighbours kept complaining that I keep farting too loud but it was actually my air conditioner and not gas but then I put this under my air conditioner and they think I don't have any gas anymore it is perfect. No more complaints!

we bought this mat for our portable washer to reduce any noise when using it. it really works and we love it. Best of all, when we unbox the item, there's no bad smell too ( i believe they listened from earlier customers' feedback and improved it). Good job, guys and keep it up.

Tiny doesn't fit regular size washing machine. Rip off for the price . Avoid

The size and cost do not match. You can get the double size of this from Homedepot for $28CAD!!!!! It is small and you will end up cutting it so that you can use it under the legs of the washing machine and .....anyways a headache for the price you pay. Not worth it.
