Skeptical At First But 5 Stars After First Cook
I was at first skeptical because of the not so smooth finish of the inside of the wok...it was like it had some sort of grainy coating, but I figured it was due to being "Pre-Seasoned". I followed the instructions and heated, applied light oil, smoked, cooled 4x, then did a 5th one just before doing an egg test. As is usually the case, when I first cracked the egg into the 1 tablespoon of avocado oil and butter, I let it "set" on the bottom before attempting to move the egg. The egg didn't just immediately slide around like a non-stick pan but after careful movement with my spatula, it released very easily and THEN slid around the pan like a hockey puck. Next, I heated another teaspoon of oil and threw a cup of chopped aromatics, chopped red and yellow-sweet onions and the green stalks of green onions. Nothing stuck and I was able to stir fry them easily. As the greens wilted and cooked, they still did not stick but I could tell if I left them alone, they'd burn and stick. Removed them and fried some day old rice. Didn't stick but again, if left alone for more than a few seconds, stick and burn is possible...but that's hot wok stir frying! I'm pleased with my 9.5" wok...just the right size for me now that I'm cooking for just me or one other. Happy with my new wok. Gave my HexClad wok to my niece.

Great size
I did 5 or 6 seasoning to this wok, creating a dark non-stick layer before using it for cooking and so far it is a great little wok. I own other bigger woks but they can be a bit too much when I want to cook for one or two people. I have made Vermicelli Noodles (Mung Bean), Pepper Steak, Fried Eggs, Pepper Chicken and everything turned out delicious. This Wok will easily feed two people with large portions or three with normal size portions. My recommendation is that you spend some time giving it at least 4 seasoning treatments before cooking with it (letting the wok cool off in between each seasoning). Trust me on this one.

This is a very fine wok offer.
This is a very well designed, beautifully made, and fairly-priced wok made in Taiwan, and this is your opportunity to have a wok which could work well and last longer than you. This 14-inch wok is big enough to make meals for several people but is not too big to make individual meals just for you. This is a Joyce Chen legacy wok having all of a wok's features.This wok is delivered preseasoned, not having a worthless non-stick paint job, and preseasoning is a valuable feature but preseasoned does not mean fully seasoned, so there will be some further work to be done by you before being used for cooking, and instructions for that are included in this wok's packaging.Start slow and easy, no more than a medium heat, keep the interior surface lightly oiled, use only wooden utensils and that way, over time and with plenty of use, this wok can develop a truly non-stick interior cooking surface. Otherwise, keep it clean, keep it completely dried by towels and/or by stove top warmth, and then keep it very lightly oiled, always.

Works well, I use it for cooking all sorts of stuff. It definitely sticks somewhat even though I seasoned it before use and I don't use soap on it. I like that it's large enough for most of what I want to make.

Perfect size, great quality
Perfect size for one or two people. Great quality, the handle and wok pan are well balanced, the shape is rounded so food doesn't slide to the bottom. Bonus, it's pre-seasoned. It's best to continue seasoning, but the time consuming early seasoning had been done.

I like it!
if you follow the instructions, it is easily seasoned. Heats much quicker than cast-iron, and cooks like a charm. No complaints at all. And it really does clean up easily

Great little pan
It’s the perfect size for two! I seasoned it exactly as directed and it cleaned up nicely after using. I can see I will use this little wok often.

Deceptive advertising. Not as described.
According to the description,"This cooking wok is ready to roll right out of the box with a preseasoned surface that eliminates the initial seasoning process." However, when I received the wok, there was a large notice attached to the wok saying that it required additional seasoning before being used. Clearly, deceptive advertising.
