Best Graphics card for 450W PSU!
I finally got tired of my VisionTek AMD RAEON 5550 - Well not really tired, but I knew the only way to get better performance was to upgrade my power supply (PSU). So I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 531 to 460 Watts (stock was 300W) and then bought this HD 7850 Based on recommendations from Tom's Hardware. Great graphics card. No problems. Fixed major performance bottleneck - can not process any high def video. Future proofed with PCIe 3.0.

Can be a pain if it's not for a fresh version of Windows.
I'm a tech-savvy guy, I hold a few modest certifications in the industry. But man, it was a nightmare getting the drivers installed switching off my NVIDIA card. AMD drivers and monitoring software are absolute garbage compared to NVIDIA. However, this doesn't affect performance so much, so, I'll deal. But that's the only star this GPU loses. It performs great, keeps itself cool even under intense load, best price performance of all GPU's if I'm not mistaken. One of the top 10 or so graphics cards out there right now.Phenomenal, but inexpensive, GPU.

Absolutely a Great card for the price
I bought this card in Feb 2013 and love it! Contrary to one review, the installation was not a problem. It is OC capable, although I have not found it necessary. I am not a gamer so you opinion may be different, if you are into heavy gaming. Then again if you are you would more likely be looking into the AMD R9 290 series (if you can afford the 2.5x price).I haven't tried the sound from the card, as I am using a Sound Blaster Z card.I was surprised to see that the price is $30 higher than the $189.95 I paid over a year ago. That in itself may be a testament to the card's abilities and popularity. (just a guess)If you are not planning to overclock, there a version (900505) that is the same in all other aspects but is $189.95.

I bought two of these cards for some awesome Crossfire action
I bought two of these cards for some awesome Crossfire action. When they both arrived and I installed them in my case everything appeared to go smoothly. The only game I had installed at the time was League of Legends. There was a tiny bit of screen flickering, but no real artifacts so I chalked it up to a minor driver issue.A few hours later I had Skyrim downloaded on Steam. Excited to see what it would look like with these two cards, I started it up. The loading and start screen loaded just fine, however once I got in game there were major artifacts. Backgrounds wouldn't load properly, textures were out of place or flat out missing, lines and geometric shapes everywhere, etc.At first I thought it was a faulty card, so I tested each card individually. One appeared to be a cause of the issues so I sent it back and asked for a replacement. DOA electronics isn't unheard of, I wasn't too upset. Even with just one card it performed better than Crossfire MSI Radeon HD 6950's.Upon the replacement card showing up and installing it, I fired up Skyrim and the same problem persisted. After an hour of googling the issue, I discovered that it's a 2D/3D rendering issue. The only answer I could find as a fix is to run the games in windowed mode, or simply disable Crossfire.AMD needs to address this issue, considering people are having the problem with just a single card, never mind two. Otherwise, while in windowed mode, everything is great and at a constant 60 FPS.

Great card.
With this card I am able to play Tomb Raider on Ultimate with an average of 46 fps. very happy with this card, temps stay cool even when playing for 5+ hours at a time. Installed easily with the included driver and haven't had a problem yet.

LTC Mining
I bought 2 of these cards for Litecoin mining. I'm getting about 350 kh/s each on these things at 75 degrees celcius. I briefly fired up my flight simulator and was able to have all the settings at the highest level.Crossfire cables were not included in the package which I don't need for mining but would have been nice to have down the road. The size of these cards is pretty small compared to some video cards but the performance is still great. All-in-all a great bang for the buck!
