Great for the price, like it a lot so far
Just assembled it today, and using it now. The instructions could use a bit of work, but it wasn't too difficult for two people to put it together in about an hour or less. They sent spare parts for almost all the screws, plus a screwdriver, so we had everything we needed.NOTES ON ASSEMBLY which weren't super clear in the instruction:A) assembling the main frame: - the sides with sides with extra holes should face out to accommodate struts later - make sure the horizontal pieces that will later hold the table have the larger holes facing up and the smaller holes facing down. screws will have to reach down all the way through these holes to connect the keyboard tray.B) assembling the keyboard tray, after figuring out which piece is left and right: - rail orientation: the end with the V shape will face towards the user - the "G" screws on the instruction for attaching the railing that say '25mm' are actually about 10mm small screws. - screwing on the rails: one screw requires the rail to be fully contracted, pull out the rail to screw the other one on. NOTE: inside of rail is greased!Minor trivia: "D" screws are more silvery compared to the similar "A" screwsPROS:- lightweight, but sturdy enough for daily use- love the extra shelf space and the stand for computer- has table stabilizing feet- no obvious visible damage to surface veneersCONS:- minor scrape on one piece of the frame - it's not really noticeable day to day- instructions weren't as clear for some steps compared to Ikea's- typing furiously on the keyboard tray makes monitor shake a bit :PNOTES:- keyboard tray is just a tad small for a standard gaming keyboard with two column macro keys and number pad, but will probably hold most other keyboards

Good for the price, not a long term solution
I bought this desk as "Very-good" from the amazon warehouse so I wasn't expecting much. The tubing of the desk is not capped so it'll rust if you live in a moisture rich environment unless you buy some caps (I live in the Caribbean so this is an issue I'm used to deal with), the desk itself is particle board with laminate - it is NOT waterproof. The seems between the laminate and the particle board absorb water and will morph the under panel. This also means the desk is a termite feast unless you maintain it right (take care of sealing the laminate corners and using some oil as deterrent). The good thing about the desk is the shelves - If I didn't need them I wouldn't had bought this desk. The board seems sturdy as long as you don't live in a moisture rich environment or are in risk of termites. The tubing will rust, but some caps will delay this process.Overall, its a good temporary desk - it won't last more than a couple of years.

Inexpensive Desk with Unclear Instructions
I was looking for an inexpensive desk for my kids to do homework on and possibly for me to use as a home office work space. The size of this product is large enough to accommodate spreading out materials while still supporting a laptop or tablet. What has been disappointing so far, is that the directions with this product are not as clear as they claim. The instructions are small drawings with no words and it was hard to tell the direction that some pieces were supposed to face. The instructions completely lacked any mention of the nuts that go on all but 2 screws, but luckily we were able to figure out where they went. As for the "sturdy" steel frame, there are some areas I will be keeping an eye on as the welds don't appear to be that strong. We will set the product up and see how long it lasts, but I guess it looks so far like an inexpensive desk.

Ridiculously Annoying and Difficult
I was super excited about this desk, but what I was not prepared for was the process that followed receiving it.The items inside were foam encased except the foam was shredded and stuck to the furniture, making a giant mess and really difficult to clean. Ah, oh well. The worst part of it all was that it took me almost 3 hours to assemble and even then it wasn't put together fully. The instructions to put it together are on ONE PIECE OF PAPER with no words and small, poorly drawn photos. It is not clear which screw is which even when listed on the sheet. I had to take apart the desk countless times due to putting it together wrong from not having enough data. Also, not all of the hardware fits where it should, there aren't holes in some areas where it says to put screws, and everything is flimsy. I should have read the reviews before purchasing because it seems I'm not the only one who had difficulty putting this together.I plan on going to the store and buying some stuff that should hopefully help me secure the desk (I was able to get it up but the table isn't secured to the frame due to not having the right screws) later today, but that's an extra trip and extra $. Pretty disappointing.

Gets the job done
You get what you pay for with this desk. I'm not surprised, but it's worth mentioning. I have a desktop computer setup I'm using it for and every so often I spook myself when I lean on it a little too much and the desk slides wildly about. It's holding up OK and I'm satisfied with it based on what I paid for it. It's good enough.

Cons: Desk was damaged on one of the corners ...
Cons:Desk was damaged on one of the corners, and did not have sufficient hardware. I had to find a nut that fit because there was one less. Use different screws. Some of the frame bent when just hand tightening. Keyboard tray is too small and does not come out far enough.Pro:The desk is fairly stable and cheap.
