Bike carrier
The bike rack was a little awkward to assemble until I got my head around the different nuts and washers.Once I understood how it went together it was a simple task to complete and was surprisingly well made and strong. The box said made in Italy and I would recommend this bike carrier.

Good so far
Used a handful of times for a child’s bike, it attaches very solidly, stays put and seems to do the job well. Not overly loud, actually hasn’t added any noise over square bars already on the roof. Fitting not difficult, for the price no complaints.Does not have a lock with it however.

Sturdy bike rack
This bike rack is well made and transported my bike well over my first 250 mile journey. It is a bit fiddly to assemble and does require some simple tools which are not supplied.

Fitting is fiddly for different sizes of bikes
Did first long journey with 3 bikes 1bigger than other 2 after getting the bikes down the road stripped one down reassembled it and the larger bike fits better now, however lost one of the plastic end caps.If you are reading this I wonder if you sell them separately.Other that that sturdy frames.

Missing parts
This was described as used but like new. The condition is fine but it was missing three washers a locking nut and a star nut.So like new? Not exactly. Folks have comments on the instructions and lack of tools. All you need is a socket wrench. You could get by with just a spanner if you had to. To be honest I thought it was very easy but then I’m a very keen woodworker and metal worker with a workshop full of tools and (luckily on this occasion) rafts of spare odds and ends.As a result I have bodged it together and it will work fine. I think though if that description doesn’t match you you should avoid the “like new” version and pay the extra for an actual new product.
