Our above the ground pond water had quickly turned cloudy and slightly green, we did some water changes and tried to aerate pouring in buckets till we could get an additional aerator and this light. It took about a week until the water started clearing. Oh my gosh the water has never looked this clear and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner, it makes a world of difference. The new aerator only replaced one that was on the fritz so the change is all attributed to this light that we placed inside our barrel holding the filter media (we don't have a skimmer box).

Amazing!! Put this in the tub that feeds my waterfall and in less than a week went from pea soup to seeing the bottom of my pond! Part of the joy of having a pond is being able to see your fish and this.light makes that happen!

We placed this light in the upper collecting pool of our waterfall so it is away from the fish and plants, and it has a steady but slow moving flow of water going past it. Our pond was green when we installed the light. The next day our pond was brown as the algae died. By day four the filters had pulled all of the dead algae out of the water and we've had a crystal clear pond ever since.

BEWARE, ONLY LASTED A FEW WEEKS! Bought this for my small outfoor Koi pond (700 gallons) to help with string algae. I bought it at beginning of july 2025, installed per directions about the middle of July. By August 4th it had already stopped working but the return window just ended. It seems to have a short in it somewhere, when i was removing it from pond it would flicker but now does nothing. There was nothing in the pond that could of damaged it and it never moved from the spot i placed it in.

Work fine the problem is the last one last April to October

Easy to install in small backyard pond. Quickly eliminated algae & moss BUT then our goldfish died, we think because they were used to feeding on the algae. Price very reasonable.

I put my UV light in the waterfall overflow because I wasn’t sure about having it in with the fish. I have a lot of problems with green water because of lack of shade. This light did the trick. Water was clear in a week to 10 days. (1300 gallon pond).

I was shocked how well this worked. I didn't realize just how dirty the water was in my pondless waterfall. Each day I looked it was cleaner and cleaner. Should have don't it sooner.
