I have a famos 120 cp oil lamp. Would this mantle fit it?

I don't know for sure, but probably not. I think this mantle is made only to fit Aladdin lamps. Sorry not to be more helpful.

Why does amazon now stock the loxon lamps?

Apparently not from the UK - if you go on line you can get them from the USA at an exorbitant price otherwise go to an old hardware / oil shop if you can find one and see if they have one on the top shelf amongst the cobwebs. The last one I got came from Scotland and arrived crushed and useless. Since then have had to use bottle gas or battery lights.

I have an aladdin lamp that needs a mantle. the empty mantle box that came with the lamp says it is a loxon 12. are these mantles compatible?

It is compatible with Aladdin no.23 lamp. This is what i have. But not sure if works for all aladdin lamps. I had found YouTube very helpful with information on these lamps.
