King Kong of Skull Island 7 Figure

This Kong figure is superb for $55 dollar price range. It is worth the money on pure looks alone. Articulation is good. As others have mentioned the legs are kind of tight to move around at first. You either need to soak it in warm water or just take your time slowly but carefully move the legs at the hips back and forth side to side up and down. I used that technique vs the warm water. Eventually was able to get the figure where I could pose it on all fours like a gorilla. A kid could play with this figure but its more for adults due to the changeable parts like the hands, and the head. I do have the NECA Kong as well but I like this one just a little more. To me this one is more ape like compared to the NECA. Shorter legs, the NECA has more human sized legs in relation to the body. Plus the fur looks rougher and longer than the NECA. This figure truly looks like the beast from Skull Island. A little to big for most Godzilla figures if you care about scale but not to bad for the NECA SOS figure. Maybe the new Kong Monster Arts figure from the Godzilla vs Kong movie that is on pre-order currently may edge this one out, but If you want a good representation of a classic Kong mixed with the new Kong this is the one you want. The paint and sculp is good, the eyes are piercing. Very real looking. Nice figure for your collection.

I bought this figure for my 5 year old son, who is into King kong, and he absolutely loves it. It has quality feel of collectible to it and has very good details.

It is very detailed and is totally worth the price !!! And before you play with it first heat it up with a hairdryer because sometimes the joints can be very stiff because if you dont you might even break the figure.in my opinion this is the best king kong figure.

I like this Kong. Although slightly larger than my Neca Godzillas, I’m still pleased. Nice sculpt. I like the colors of his head; eyes and open mouth. Shackles, extra hands are good. I little stiff new out of the box, but that’s to be expected. Just found out about the MonsterArts Godzilla and Kong coming later this year, in case your interested in a “matching” pair. Have fun always!

This King Kong figure looks exactly like the one in the movie! The extent of the detail and quality workmanship on this product is excellent! The product is well worth the money I spent! The King Kong figure was much nicer than expected and the quality far exceeded my expectations! My son is very happy!!!

I love this figure! It is heavy and intimidating. The two heads interchange easily and quickly… with no “fear” that something will break. As an accuracy factor: There is no Ann Darrow in Skull Island, nor shackles. These are elements from the Peter Jackson King Kong movie. That said, Ann looks great, as you can probably tell…

It's a good toy my grandson love it. But the parts pop off to easy.

Comes with additional head, set of chains, and a set of extra hands along with a small version of Ann From the movie. Box that came in is a collector addition with a good back drop matching kong jungle scene. Worth buying.

I chose this action figure because I love King Kong. I was going to buy the NECA King Kong action figure but then I found this figure and I definitely made the right decision. When it arrived it was much better than I thought it was. Now most action figures with two heads, are impossible to put one of the heads on. But this figure however is easy to take off and on. Also I love that it comes with chains. Like when Kong breaks out of the big studio. Also I love all the fur details on it. It really looks realistic. Not just that but it’s such a good size. But something I really like is that it comes with a mini Ann Darrow figure. So Kong can hold her in one of his hands, because this toy comes with multiple hands. I’d definitely recommend this action figure to anyone who likes action figures. It was the best action figure I’ve ever bought in my whole entire life. And I have loads of figures so it’s hard to only like one. Definitely work the money.

Received product with a broken lower leg, not worth it for the price
