The media could not be loaded. During the summer of 2021, I found the weather in the UK uncomfortably hot, and in 2022 it was particularly punishing. With rumours of temperatures in summer 2023 reaching 40C+, I feel that I will need more than a traditional fan for a possible heatwave! After much searching, I decided to buy the Pelonis Air Cooler which comes with a 2-year Warranty.This 33-inch Air Cooler is both sturdy and well designed. The control panel at the top of the unit provides easy access buttons for the on/off Power, Oscillation, Speed Settings, Modes, Timer, and Humidifier. I like the fact that when a button is pushed, a light comes on indicating my choice. I noticed that the Cooler is advertised as having a ‘7-Hour Timer’. On the control panel, the timer function has three separate choices – ‘1h’, ‘2h’, and ‘4h’. Other than these numbers adding up to seven, the maximum continuous use is four hours.Compared to other fans that I have owned, this Air Cooler is quieter and the airflow is very effective and comfortable. At the time of writing this review, I am unable to comment on the accomplishment of this unit during extreme temperatures (heatwave), but from what I have already experienced, I am confident that this machine is up for the challenge!As I will only be using the Pelonis Air Cooler during the summer period, it is definitely more cost-effective than buying an Air Conditioner which can cost hundreds of pounds! For anyone looking for a multi-functional, well designed Air Cooler, I would certainly recommend this one.

5 stars because it is a very good product, different speeds, quiet running, keeps the atmosphere cool, beautiful design, you can move it wherever you need, has a remote control, and you can top it up on the back with water and also put the ice cooler in when it is a very hot day.

It's not bad! But for the price I thought it might of been a little better. We got it when it was on a sale, which was fine, but at full price I wouldn't know if it's completely worth it, I think for the price you might as well spend a bit more and get an actual air conditioner instead.I wanted to try this for my pets room to keep them cool on hot days, but it's not powerful enough to cool down the room much. It's definitely a decent fan, but that's all it is, mainly just a fan that blows cooler air thanks to the ice packs.It does feel nice and I think it would be fantastic for in our bedroom or living room when it gets too warm, but to effectively cool down the temperature in a room or to help our pets stay cool, it just doesn't hold up to the job. We've had to buy an actual air conditioner for their room. But have kept this fan for us, as it's still a great fan and will do just fine keeping us cool.

Excellent value for your money easy to use low noise really good on hot days it cools the air down better than air conditioning lightweight easy to move would highly recommend this product

Works really well, and not overly loud. It’s not going to cool a room to any great extend, but as cool breeze as you work/ rest / sleep it’s spot on. The water tank design, good be better thought out but it’s workable. We’ve used cold water with ice cubes to great effect, alongside the packs provided. We bought 2, confident now to buy a couple more

this apparently had rave reviews, its rubbish thankfully mine leaked water out the back which messed up a dresser top so i was able to return it, but its truely rubbish, even filled with ice colder water from the freezer and loaded with ice packs it was unable to alter a smallbox bedroom by even a degree, its also not very powerful on full you can barely feel the breeze less than a metre away, its way way over priced, do your self a favour and buy the symphony 30L its the same price when the voucher is applied and it actually works, you can feel the breeze several meters away loaded with iced water it genuinely cools a room, the pelonis is a glorified tower fan and its not even a very good tower fan. the fault with mine was the water would spill out the back i can only assume off the mesh in the back,

I’m kind of sitting on the fence with this tbh.It’s a good fan when used with ice/ice packs and very useful when close by or next to the bed. It doesn’t however cool a room by any stretch of imagination. The night mode is good & quiet once kicked in (takes 5/10 minutes) but otherwise it is quite loud. The water tank is fiddly with a twist lock for the pump.My long term concern with this is how to clean the pipe that feeds the water up to the pad… having used for a few weeks now, it’s already starting to smell a bit when I empty the tank out and I worry about mould forming as you can’t remove the pipe.The instructions are minimal so some tips to address the concern would be useful as I’m sure I’m not the only one who has wondered!I have emailed the company so will update review should I hear back.

I have tried all the modes and consider this unit to be very good value, it has remote control, on/off button, speed button, timer button, mode button, all the modes can be changed with the remote control. I have put 2 small ice packs into the water tank, I used water from the fridge and it has a brilliant cooling effect. I highly recommend this unit as I did a lot of research before I purchased this, was very easy to set up too, the water tank is very easy to clean and the water pump can be removed easily where others makes need a screw driver to remove them.Overall you get what you pay for and this was worth the price.
