Great Performance
'03 1500HD w/6.0L & 4L85The Good:1. Excellent cooling performance. Temperature regulation is stabile at 192-196 degrees (scan tool indications) and my transmission temperature dropped by 25-35 degrees (gauge).2. Fitment was perfect requiring no modifications using my Electric Fan assembly. The Bad:1. AMAZON - sent me an obvious open box. This item had been handled previously and put back into the manufacturers packaging improperly (the box staples had been broken and the box was taped shut, the foam was randomly placed and the radiator was not secure within the box) prior to arriving at my door. This caused minor damage to the fins (both sides) which took me over an hour to straighten. I would have returned for an exchange if I had the time.2. MANUFACTURER - the oil and transmission cooler tube adaptors were loose - not even snug (several threads away from seating). These would have leaked had I not checked them. They need to be tightened to seat the O-ring in the threaded tank bungs.3. MANUFACTURER - Fitment issue with the oil cooler tube adaptors to the tubing - too tight - which prevented the flared tubing ends from being inserted even without the clip. I removed each adaptor from the tank and worked them against the tubing ends until they seated (rotated back and forth while pushing tube in and out) with reasonable insertion force. Another wasted hour...

LAST 14 MONTHS BAD QUALITY AND WARRANTY IS USELESS
There is no point to pay 3 times($700) more for radiator that last 14 months, compare to the previous (OEM) lasted 13 years ($220). Also you have to pay 100 to get shipping warranty and then 3 days later after no emails or calls for tracking number, you need to chase them to find out that they don't have it in stock and you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for them to have it. The funny thing is that amazon shows 6 units in stock.Been a mishimoto customer for almost 20 years. " Last Mishimoto product that i buy"I will keep an update on how this warranty claim end up. now is been almost 6 days without the truck."Worst Customer Service"'

Radiator is AWESOME and fits 2002 GMC Sierra K1500 5.3
First off this radiator was ordered for my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 4wd 5.3. When I received this radiator I was blown away at the quality and craftsmanship. Noticeably larger then my original factory radiator in every way. When I purchased the radiator I also purchased the black mishimoto radiator hoses I mean why not? Anyways once installing the radiator which fit perfectly without any modifications required except I did have to do some research because my existing fan shrouds were about 5” too short on each side of the radiator. Served it’s purpose as is but I wasn’t satisfied with the finished product. After a little research I ended up ordering GM Part#s 15267487 and 15088328 which are upper and lower factory fan shrouds that fit perfectly with this wider radiator. I’m very satisfied with the fitment and performance of the radiator and would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking to upgrade your factory cooling system!

Works on Escalade 07-14!!!!
The description will tell you it does not fit the Escalade from 07-2014. It does. This radiator is meant for a silverado or something like that. You have the choice of choosing the style but this radiator is the all in 1. By that I mean it has a power steering cooler. It has the transmission cooler. If you need both. It works. If you only need the trans cooler. It works. You don't have to plug the other holes. They are independent coolers sealed within the radiator. No coolant will splill out if u leave it open.A quick tip on installing this radiator on the Escalade platinum. They have a a different bumper than the base models and I'm not sure how they look. The air dam ontop has 2 guide nubs to bolt up to the body. U can shave them down or break them off. This allows the radiator to sit flush. They are tiny nubs and it's not the end of the world to break them off.Cooling with this radiator. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. It holds more coolant. It cools faster. I replaced my radiator due to it leaking slowly and it could not keep up with the towing I did.

Fits to stock, works amazing.
I replaced the stock, plastic fitted radiator on my 2000 Chevy Silverado with this Mishimoto radiator. The only note to anyone looking at this product I would give, is that it is bigger than the stock, so your fan shroud will not affix to it without a little ingenuity. Other than that, this radiator is beautifully constructed, fits into the stock position and bolts right up (to the wider bolt pattern). It also holds around a gallon more fluid, which is always nice!

3rd replacement leaking since 2021
I have had two replacements from my original purchased in august of 21. Each costing $100 shipping each time. All 3 radiators have leaked from the upper driver side core. I have used their recommended additive, tested for electrolysis, and added grounds to radiator every time and still manage to have a leak in the same place every time. The fan shroud is not rubbing, even switched to electric fans with this last one and it still has a hole in it and leaking.

QA/QC needs some revision
So overall, the quality of the radiator itself is actually pretty good overall, it looks well built, and sturdy, it fits well, minus the bushings that you need to salvage from your old radiator. I've always been skeptical of Mishimoto but I decided to give it a try, and even though everything was built.well, their QA/QC department definitely needs to be paying closer attention to what they are selling..one of the fittings is absolutely covered in rust, to the point that I'm already trying to find a replacement since it looks disgusting and definitely don't want to be putting that in my engine. Then there's the face of the actual radiator having smashed fins and tubes. Don't get me wrong it's not horrible but I'd expect that it wouldn't be as bad after paying 2/3 times the amount of an OEM replacement. I'd definitely buy again but if I had more time I'd send it back and get one that's actually been checked.
