Novogratz Athena Computer Desk with Storage, White Faux Marble

First, I was so impressed with how the desk came package. It was actually a little time-consuming to get it out of the box, but I didn’t mind at all because the manufacturer took their time was making sure that this item was shipped appropriately so that you can receive it in one piece. There were just a minor cracks on the inside of the desk, but I expected that from it being shipped from a warehouse. I decided to redecorate everything in my apartment, which included a new workspace for me. Not only was this easy to assemble, it only took me about 30 minutes. The instructions came labeled and were very detailed and easy to read, but this desk is such a stunning and stylish furniture piece! This would make a great desk, vanity, art station, photo prop, it’s such a versatile piece of furniture and has built very well and sturdy that you could literally use it for anything. I also really love that the two cubbies in the inside of the desk are very deep so you can put multiple items in there such as, planners, notebooks, staples, headphones, glasses, and so many other things. I am always picky about my furniture because I like things to look a certain way, and I have a very particular taste with everything that I wear and keep around me. This desk was definitely worth every penny!

Came packaged very well, with all of the pieces and clear, simple instructions. Honestly, I didn't even use the instructions because it was pretty self explanatory. I'm using this desk as a vanity and it is able to hold a lot of my things, including a cubby shelf for my perfumes. Holes were aligned for the screws, perfect size desk, and looks great! It's glossy and chic. I'd recommend it!

Install consists of 16 screws, 4 per leg in pre set holes, super easy. Quality is suprising high. It's a solid piece that looks great and was super easy to install. I read some review where the product arrived damaged. Mine was packaged very well and even though 1 side of the box was crushed upon delivery, there was no damage to the desk. It looks much more expensive than it was. Be aware *legs are not a shiny gold like in picture, they are more of a burnt bronze-ish gold (which we like better, and fits much better w my daughters mid century modern color palette in bronzes). I've been shopping for a while for the perfect desk/vanity for her. This one was a great price compared to others of lower quality I've looked at. The install was so easy it made having it delivered and us putting it together much easier than if we had tried to purchase and bring home an assembled piece. The marble design is one of the better patterns in which it looks like real marble until touched. We've put her marble lamp and assecories on it and it's a great match.

Novogratz has made a stylish, value-oriented furniture for years. I already own an outdoor piece and a number of flatpack items, so the Novogratz Computer Desk With Storage, White Marble (9618891COM) was a logical choice for a small desk in a studio room.In typical flatpack fashion, the desk arrived in a box that was the size of the table top. Oddly, the table top was already fully assembled. Despite this, the packaging was sufficient to protect the surfaces (and corners) of the wrapped MDF. Assembly consists of attaching the 4 legs and the cable grommet. Expect assembly to take about 5 minutes. A quirk of the flatpack nature of the desk, is that the cubbies don't extend to the back of the desk. Why, you ask? Well, the legs have to go somewhere, and they ship nestled into the back cavity. That cavity is kind of odd. It's wrapped, so it's kind of finished, but there's a cable management hole in the bottom (like on the table top), but there's no finishing grommet. Theoretically, you could use that for cable management, I guess. Regardless, it's not really something that you'd want facing into the room.The Novogratz desk was the first piece of furniture that I've had, that has wrapped surfaces. Regardless, the finish quality seems to be pretty good. I've included a photo to show it in more detail. The wrap has a pretty convincing look to it... right up to when you see the the rotating nuts for the cam bolts. Sigh. I get that there needs to be some type of fastener, but I don't understand why this desk didn't include some round stickers (preferably, in the same wrap) to cover those holes. They are very conspicuous... not only from the front, but also from the back. It's a disappointing lack of attention to detail in an otherwise nice piece. The legs look nice, have a cool surface finish, and look at home in a MCM décor.Overall, the desk is pretty nice. Due to the cosmetic issues I mentioned, I think it's best suited for being pushed up against a wall. More ambitious buyers may cover the holes with a "close enough" bit of wrap. Recommended

Box comes in, when you open it, the desk top is already put together which is great, all I had to do is put the legs on it with 16 screws on it, all tools are included, forget about it. I used the little tool the provided but if you have more tools you'll be done faster. After you assemble it you can tell its obviously not really marble but it looks and feels great. Plenty of storage and I love the dimensions. I just needed a desk to put the laptop on it but it provides so much more space and its classy looking. Absolutely love the color. I recommend you buy this if you just need a small desk. I really like the cable control whole.. its been working out great.

I hardly write reviews for products I purchase but I absolutely love this desk. It is sturdy and it looks beautiful. I really like the storage space it has and the top is pretty spacious as well. When I was shopping around for a desk I almost got another one because it was slightly cheaper, but I am so glad I purchased this one! It was also easy to assemble, all I had to do was screw the legs on. No regrets about this purchase whatsoever.
