Prime-Line U 9556 Brass Lock and Door Reinforcement Plate for 1-3/4 In. Thick Doors, Brass Finish (Single Pack)

We’ve tried to harden our home as best we could. This hopefully helps against kick ins. Looks nice too.

A tad largeer than the thickness of my bedroom door but my fault for not measuring. Still worked to cover up a broken area from locking myself out.

The media could not be loaded.  I had been broken into and they took my spare keys (God love 'em). Between this and my new locks, I believe I'm set!

Overall I am pleased with this item. Unfortunately they did not include the right number of screws to install the plate.

Works great daughter can not get in brothers room anymore

This product is awesome. After my non-professional deadbolt install on the garage to house door I was thinking I would need to touch up around lock with putty, sanding and paint.I found this on Amazon and it worked great and was a really easy/quick install. Due to sufficient gap between door and frame did not need to even shave down the side of the door.It covered up my install (touch up no longer required) and lock/door are definitely stiffer.Also looks great and matches my new brass locks.It is really a bargain for what you get.

Fit very well it took 5 minutes to apply.

The 1 3:4” guard does not have a recess where the plunger goes through thereby causing the plunger attach plate to set outside of the guard. This reduces the clearance to the jamb strike plate by about 1/8” and looks rigged.
