How can a number describe me? I am not too much lije my birth sign but this is so accurate. It even describes my relationship. Well worth reading.

Thought it was a very useful guide for the areas in my life I need to look at. Helped me obtain a more accurate picture of myself and others I know. Would recommend this book to others.

I read a few large chunks of this immediately it arrived almost; the bits about my birthday numbers of course and those of my daughter a little. Whether true or not it seems a lot of detailed work must have gone into the book. Numerology is hard to like for people like me who see it as depriving humans of self determination ie we are ruled by numbers, planets (astrology), God if you are religious and so on. I was surprised at how accurate the number readings seemed for me but on the other hand I might read some numbers not to do with me and check if those feel 'accurate' too! I suppose the book is helpful if it is seen as making the person aware of our tendencies as opposed to letting them rule us without our being aware of them. The book claims that the numbers of our birthday, month and year, can lead us to discover our life purpose ie we are all meant to have lessons to learn here on earth and certain number sequences are linked to certain challenges eg the number 7 is meant to be linked to issues of trust of oneself and others. The author likens our journey to enligtenment to climbing a mountain ie not easy but worth it for the view at the top. The book is very interesting, accurate often but not always for me and regardless of the numbers it has some helpful exercises and advice about living a fruitful life. A great price for a really interesting book which I will look at again no doubt.

Interesting, still getting to grips with the ideas behind it.

I'm furious that this stuff continues to be peddled and swallowed. Like astrology, and the Jungian personality types so favoured in career management, this thing is yet another arbitrary weave of everyman thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Take any given 'type' and you can convince yourself it is you - each a clutch of universal strengths and weaknesses that try to categorise and contain individual differences to give you an heuristic badge to wear. Better to educate yourself in actual science. You will find that 100 years of disciplined psychometric measurement still leaves us a mess of relatively persistent tendencies, corrupted by transient, often biochemically mediated, moods, that predict behaviour barely a little. You are then liberated to focus on the personal values which drive you in the real world. What is important to you? Why is this important to you? In what way could this be expressed in your life? What do you need to do to acheive this? Act and repeat....

This is one of my favourite books of all time and mine was so worn that I needed to replace it as it is a constant source of helping to understand what our life purpose is about and how well it fits with others. I use it as a source of information about the nature of numerology over and over. The book is beyond brilliant.

really enjoyed this book and the authors view of numerology lot of insight and a book you will read more then one time.

A very interesting book, with a lot of information that gets you thinking. Highly recommended.
