Expired!!! *2nd UPDATE & NEW RATING*
I was sent an expired bottle! It expired way back in January 2020! This is completely unacceptable! I will be returning it! Please always check the dates on these products! It’s happened to me more than once.*UPDATE*I returned the expired bottle in exchange for a new bottle and I was sent ANOTHER EXPIRED BOTTLE!!! Wow! Unbelievable! And by the condition of the box, it appears that another customer had sent this very one back as well. I will be returning this bottle in hopes to get one that’s not expired.*2nd Update*The customer service is wonderful! Someone from the company reached out to me because I was sent 2 expired bottles. They apologize for what happened and quickly sent me 2 new replacement bottles. The bottles look great with an expiration date of 9/2022. The vitamin D3 spray has a pleasant taste. It’s very easy to use compared to the slow drop version I’ve used in the past. It’s very convenient to use! I love it!

D3 is life
I used to get strep 5+ times a year. Now, when I feel any sort of tickle, I spray this stuff, and I haven't had strep since! Been using vitamin d3 spray for the past 3 years.

About that Vitamin D....
Vitamin D seems to be all the rage these days... seems like everyone is talking about its health benefits. My boyfriend tore his achilles and I was picking the brain of the orthopedic surgeon for this recommendations on supplements and whatnot, or anything he thought my BF should be taking for his recovery. Vitamin D is available in some foods and from the UV rays of the sun (they're not all bad! ;) ), but it is essential for so many things in the body like calcium absorption, bone health, cell growth, muscle health.. My boyfriend is inside working all day and rarely sees the sun, plus we aren't really dairy people so I found it to be a good idea to get the supplement. My bf is also a big baby and does not like to swallow pills, so the spray form worked out. The spray has a slightly sweet taste that is actually kind of pleasant. Having the spray around and out on the counter seems like it is easier to remember to take a few sprays than pill + water. Overall, we are happy with this product.

Tastes weird
I’d previously been using oil drops to get my vitamin D, which was fine except for the fact that I sometimes had what seemed like a very long wait for one drop of oil. I figured a sprayer would be better, since I could pull the trigger and control exactly when it’s dispensed. The dispenser works great, as expected, but the trouble is the taste of this stuff. At first it’s slightly sweet (I suppose from the glycerin), which is fine, but then it has a weird bitter aftertaste that made me want to wash my mouth out to get rid of it. The only ingredients besides vitamin D (as cholecalciferol) are purified water, vegetable glycerin, and potassium sorbate (as a preservative) so I guess either the preservative or the vitamin D itself is what makes it taste like this. It might not be so bad if I spray it and eat something strongly-flavored immediately afterwards to wash it down. I’ll have to experiment to find some way to tolerate this, since this little bottle contains nearly a year’s worth of daily sprays, each spray containing 1,000 IU of vitamin D, which the box says is 250% of the recommended daily value. They must have gotten that 250 number by calculating from the RDA for babies up to 12 months old, since the RDA for babies is 400 IU. (250% of 400 is 1000.) The RDA for most people is 600 IU, and the RDA for the elderly is 800 IU, so this dosage isn’t 250% of the RDA for most people. Anyway, this dosage is pretty high. There’s some disagreement over how much vitamin D people really need. It’s not recommended to take more than 4,000 IU per day, so don’t take more than four sprays per day.The bottom of the box has 01/2020 printed on it, which I assume is the manufacturing date, not the expiration date, since I received it in 09/2020.

Tastes like sugar free pez
Aerobic Life Vitamin D Liquid Vitamin D3 Supplement Spray, 2 OunceI trust Aerobic Life’s products. I take their Mag07 every night and I love them. I take daily Vitamin D per doctor’s orders so I figured why not try a trusted brand in a spray form! I thought it would be fun. I take 5000 IU daily in a pill form, so in order to get the same amount I have to pump 5 sprays into my mouth. Turns out that’s kind of a lot. The best I can describe the flavor is sugar-free Pez candy. Now, I like pez. Not really a fan of sugar free flavor (the pink and blue kind, not like monk fruit). And when it’s 5 sprays, it’s too much. I don’t know why I thought it would be fun, but it’s not. If it was only 1 or 2 sprays I don’t think I would mind it as much. Oh, and it’s not in a glass bottle. It’s plastic. I’ve tried multiple other Aerobic Life products, but so far this is my least favorite.
