What an interesting product. I have always had issues with suction cup mounts anywhere from 6 months to 1 year failing after being in the sun and it slowly losing suction. You could always "fix" it temporarily by adding some water, but this product attempts to preemptively fix and prevent suction loss by attaching a small battery and small motor to suck out the air automatically.Had a few places to drive to this weekend and tested item out - it's not bad. Currently testing on windshield and it works.... just like any other suction cup mount. The true test will be in longevity after one year. My garmin suction cup mount failed after a year or two, and this technically is the same size, so that's what I will be using it for. Will see! Have also tested phone and it works as well.Main negs: because this is battery powered, you will need to find a splitter or temporarily not charge your phone to charge up the suction cup battery, that way it keeps on working. As I have never seen this product before (not to mention how many times they mention it DOES NOT WIRELESSLY CHARGE in the manual!) - I suspect that this is a new/beta product --- I expect a newer version of this product to either 1) include wireless charging at a higher price or 2) include an internal splitter in order to allow phone charging. That would make this product more convenient. The manual also mentions to stick to a FLAT surface. Windshields are not flat surfaces (they are a little curved), so again --- only time will 100% tell if this product can stand the test of time. FOR NOW: it is a good product and has similar suction to my BEST suction product I have ever purchased - the gopro suction cup mount (for high speed vehicle filming or other intense activity!) However, in the end, that still had a shelf life: 3 years. I will be happy if this product continues working after 1.5 years........

The phone holder holds the surface to which it is attached; I'm not afraid of it coming loose during everyday use. I have a curved dashboard, so I used a window attachment (the phone holder comes with clear plastic disks for mounting on a textured surface). My wife checked it out with me, and she commandeered it to use on her desk at work. She said she likes the height and ease of attaching the cable to her phone and the vacuum port. I gave it a five-star rating for utility, ease of use, attachment, unique design, and customer support. I'll buy one for myself because she isn't letting it come home from work.

This phone holder is a game changer for me. It's easy to apply (although the surface must be smooth so it doesn't work for my dash-put it on my windshield), and it corrects it's seal through bumps as I'm driving and has yet to fall on a bumpy road. It is a sound to get used to when driving, but I am very much enjoying it. Previous ones just became decorative or kicked around in the floor after falling off repeatedly. If you have a pop socket or kickstand attached to your phone, it can be difficult to get it into the cradle though. I've also relocated it without issue and it is very easy to change without losing seal. I continue to use it rather than leaving it sitting on my dash as I have others.

Wow.I think the LISEN Car Phone Holder Mount might be one of the best mounts I’ve used in the past five years. I couldn’t believe how strong the vacuum suction was when I first tested it out on my kitchen table. No matter how much force you used to try to pull the mount off, it didn’t budge; that’s the kind of mount I’m looking for when I’m driving and need to make abrupt stops.I’ve been using this mount for three weeks now, and I can’t say I have any complaints. It’s a reliable, high-quality mount that does exactly what I expect it to do. The LISEN mount might be on the pricier side, but you do get what you pay for. An easy install quality mount with incredibly reliable suction that makes accessing maps easy while simultaneously allowing me to focus on driving without being completely distracted. Highly recommend.
