Does its job. Affordable, soothing. Slows down inflammation but needed to be used regularly. I use it after washing and drying my hair. It does not freeze my scalp or hair, no cast no greese just fresh tingling on the skin. ( my hair are very fine and thin with slight curl)

Instantly soothes and relived my itchy scalp. I had to apply more than expected but the almost instant relief is heavenly and the bottle will last a long time.

This is an effective scalp lotion. I couldn't get to my Dr. for a prescription for my regular. Glad I took a chance. It seems to be quite effective.

The texture of this product is a little too sticky/gooey for me. It's so thick that I have trouble getting it through my hair to my scalp in the back. It does okay helping with the itch, but I won't be buying it again.

It leaves this nice cooling effect that last for awhile and the reason why the texture is gooey is because so that the product stays and last longer and that the ingredient used is oatmeal which is known to have properties to help heal the skin better. I even put Flexitol on my skin sometimes and it works amazingly, sometimes better than cortizone, for me anyway! Hope this works for you, wish I found it sooner! Edit 1: I recently put this on my mosquito bites, oh my--The itching stopped almost immediately, I swear my bite disappeared within a day or two too. Seriously, very overlooked product!! Love it! Edit 2: I also wanted to mention is be sure not to mix this with other products you use for hair or lotion, etc. You could be causing a chemical reaction that’ll burn your skin/scalp and not even know it. So be sure to be careful on that and that you apply it on clean hair (no shampoo or conditioner products in your hair, so it needs to be fully washed off) I find my scalp and skin heals well when mixed with natural oils like olive oil or coconut oil (just this coconut oil attracts mosquitos so only wear when at home) or any naturals that is good for the skin. This thing is magic. My scalp occasionally flares up if I am stressed or eat too much inflammatory food, such as dairy. I then have a flaky scalp with unsightly dandruff, a snowstorm, and unbearable itching. Just one application, I can feel the menthol relief. I often apply all over my scalp on dry hair, marinate it (perhaps adding a workout), then pair it up with a Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo in my shower. My scalp feels sufficiently exfoliated but also conditioned. Then I finish off with a non-toxic conditioner (fragrance-free). My hair and scalp love it—best $11 spent.

Where do I start? First of all this is NOT A LIQUID like you would expect to come out of a squeeze bottle with an attached dropper. It is a very thick goopy substance that is impossible to get through your hair down to your skin. I made the mistake of squeezing a big blob onto my hair just before leaving the house to run errands and needless to say, after applying this stuff, I couldn’t go anywhere until I washed my hair … and the smell is soooo strong … it reeks of menthol. As far as helping the itch, it just burned like fire and I had to wash it out almost immediately.

This is the best product I’ve ever used on my scalp. I have microlocs and my hair and scalp struggle so much in the dry winters. On top of that, buildup from work outs makes my hair feel greasy and itchy. This changed all of that! I’m so amazed and highly recommend this product. Use it after washing with the flex it’ll shampoo for even more relief before using a moisturizing spray/lotion. I just wish it came in a larger size so it’s more cost effective for someone like me who used it every week!

Best product for itchy scalp. Only problem is doesn't deal with the itch for more than about a day. Then you have to reapply. Also, it is a thick-ish serum in consistency. So when it dries it makes your hair hard.
