Popit! 8 Clear Food Storage Containers Set, Microwave and Freezer Safe, Little Big Box

This review is for the Popit 8 piece food storage container set. I don't know if I just missed the 6 piece set when I was searching the available products, but if I had seen it I might have bought the 6 piece set first because the containers are quite a bit larger. Since the containers in the 8 piece set aren't significantly smaller than the glass container set I've been using for some time I probably won't buy the 6 piece set as well but it's good to know it's available too. I love the snap lock lids on this set! They are much much easier to use than the lids on Rubbermaid and other containers, especially for someone like me who has weakening hands from age and disease. I would have kept using the glass containers with snap lock lids because I like glass the best but they are too heavy now and since I tend to drop things a lot these days they can break very easily on my tiled kitchen floor. So plastic it is. These are definitely very good quality BPA free plastic. There are inner seals on the lids that need to be removed and washed periodically. Again, it takes very little strength to take them off and put them back on, although it can be fiddly to do. The seals do make the containers truly air tight. I wash them once a week because I use the containers all the time. Salads are a big part of the food I eat in a day. I use the containers for prepped vegies, as well as other things, so I don't have to start every salad from scratch. I'm happy to recommend the Popit storage containers as a quality product which does the job well. In addition they are great for someone like me who has weak hands.

I bought these for my parents when I was living with them, I got tired of always searching for a matching lid and container in their drawer of mix-matched lids. Ever since I bought these my parents have been completely satisfied with them. I ordered to sets and it is more then enough containers for a few days of leftovers. The containers and lids are easily stack-able and are pretty rugged and sturdy. The lids can be a little tricky at times to pop close, but you have to make sure they are lined up properly so you don't break off the clips. We have yet to break any and they are all in great shape. The fact that they are dishwasher safe has saved my mother a lot of time from hand washing them. The removable silicone seal makes it ease to get into the groves and give it a good cleaning after some of those saucy dishes. Also, they sizes of these containers can be pretty deceiving and they hold a lot more food then I thought. All in all this is a pretty amazing set of storage containers for your leftover food. I will defiantly order a few sets of these for myself once I move out.

My husband and I have recently started cooking a ton of meals on Sunday and freezing them to eat throughout the week. I started a new job that requires me to have to get up at 4 each morning (yeah, that part really sucks), so I'm definitely not in the mood to cook on weekdays. Needless to say we needed a lot of food storage containers. I looked into glass but decided on these because they're BPA free and I tend to drop stuff so I know these ones won't break when I do drop them. I ordered two sets of these and we went through them all during our first massive cooking day. The containers are great and I love the various sizes. I use the smaller ones to store fruit and it's really easy to grab one out of the fridge each morning to throw into my lunch bag. We use the larger ones for large items like meatloaf, lasagna, etc. So far the containers have held up perfectly. They go from freezer to fridge to microwave to dishwasher very well. Luckily I haven't had any problems with the hinges. I just ordered two more sets since I really like them and we definitely need more containers.

First off, let me just say that I like these containers. I really like the fact that they are versatile and can go in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher - a one stop pop. When I first received them, I was impressed at how compact the package was because each container fits in the container slightly larger than it so the total dimension of the boxes is just the volume of the two largest containers pictured. This is great for storing or transporting these containers when they're empty. However, I found that for regular use, it's not convenient to keep the containers stored like a babushka doll so the oddly sized containers and lids don't end up stacking or storing in a convenient way. I admit that this is a pretty minor complaint, but it would be a nice if the containers could store more easily for daily use... Other than that, they've been great so far.

These containers are fantastic. After purchasing a set from Rubbermaid and having them leak everywhere, I was really frustrated. When I saw these go on lightning deal, I decided to fork over more money and see if they worked better. First of all, I love how they stack. See the photo for this product? All of those containers perfect stack into each other, so the box you receive is a concise package with two nested sets of four containers. One of the sets are squattier than the other, so you end up really with 8 unique size containers. The tiniest one is really quite tiny, only good for maybe a snack of nuts. The real test was -- do they leak? NOPE. I filled one up about 2/3 with water and went to town shaking and throwing it around. Not a drop. The lids lock on really nicely (way better than Rubbermaid's). I couldn't be happier with this product. I haven't had any of these stain yet, but haven't tried too much in the tomato sauce realm. I also like how they aren't super rounded like Rubbermaid's tend to be. While they aren't straight edges, for the most part, these are fairly square containers. I would definitely recommend for anyone who's looking for a leak-proof variety of storage containers.

Aunque no los he utilizado, al recibirlos los chequé y parecen de buena calidad. Los ocho caben (6) en los dos contenedores más grandes, por lo que no toman espacio casi. Para los precios de internet, me parece que es una buena relación calidad-precio; comparado con los precios de tiendas físicas, sí es más barato por Amazon.

Easy to clean. No complaints.
