Donnelly Irish Style Jumbo Sausage 2.27Kg (80oz)

Delicious, I've now recieved a couple of orders of these, first ordered them a few months back - always on time and per the description (consistency is key with bangers).. They are fantastic! I have them every week with onion gravy, peas an mash or with a breakfast - even a sarnie. They stay moist, no gristle and keep their shape; I've just tried some on the BBQ and they are as expected, lots of compliments from my american guests (I'm an expat). I'll certainly keep buying themBy the way, sharing the Donnelly name is just a sheer coincidence - there are many of us around the world!!

This is a favorite of many who lived in or visited Ireland. Irish Pork Sausage, has a mild level of spice, but has a richpork sausage flavor. The texture is a bit finer than most Irish Pork Sausages in Ireland, and it has wheat and not oat as the husk in the sausage mix. I highly recommend them, for breakfast, or making Bangers and Mash, or a a chips and bangers, or to make sausage rolls (remember take off the skins when making sausage rolls). I always have a box or two in my freezer and just thaw what I need each time.

Bangers came shipped ( still mostly frozen) in one box/ carten. Broke them into 3 portions, then placed in freezer. The casings on the sausage's were " lose" which was kind of odd to me. I am used to bangers being thicker then these.( Like a bratwurst). These are more of a breakfast size style. The overall taste was pretty good. Not the best I've had, but nice favor. Would buy again

The flavor and texture is good. They cook well and dont explode. The only issue I have is the cost of shipping. It nearly doubled the price of the product. The product itself since it is made in the USA should not cost as much as it does.

We love Irish sausages wen we visit Ireland, which are similar to sausages we get in our favorite local breakfast place, and coukd brver find them The sausages taste just like what we love. So easy to cook, too, in a skillet or in the oven! I will order these again !

My husband is from Ireland...all of the Donbely products are truly authentic and delicious!!! It's a sure way to make his day...a taste of Ireland right at our table!!!!

I think if you are not super familiar with the great irish fry up these will be fine.If you do know your Dennys or Superquinn or whatever your local was in Ireland these are pale comparison.They cook up fine but are larger as advertised. Skin cooks up fine and has some of the crispness. the meat inside though is lacking the flavor.In a pinch this are ok but just not like home.
