I bought the Gtheos Captain 300 wireless "gaming" headset for my HP Laptop computer that I'm using for online classes. I love the fact that the headset is BOTH plug-in AND wireless. The noise-cancelling feature is great when you may not have a quiet study area and need to block out background distracting noises. When I'm not attending classes online, I can use the same headset for online gaming, and on my PS4 Games! and even my mobile phone!! Out of the box, the mic boom is easily attached to the headsets, the boom flexible can be easily adjusted to the size of the user to talk into.The audio clarity is great; I have absolutely no trouble understanding the instructor and the pronunciation of key concepts are understood with crystal clear clarity over Zoom, the microphone only picks up my voice- and is true to my voice tones. not the background noise when I participate in class discussionsThey feel light and fluffy around my larger ears, easy on and easy off as the headset doesn't "clamp" on my head like a pliers on my 7-3/4" diameter head!The only real CONS here - and it's not a dealbreaker....is that the shell is glossy and most like prone to surface scratching (think any mobile phone screen before placing a screen protector on it.) so I'm keeping the plastic labels on the sides until I buy some stickers or another solution to protect them.

I NEVER write reviews even if I get a good product or a bad one, just because I’m very lazy but this is an exception!!!This is HANDS DOWN best headset I’ve used for gaming ever. I’ve tried atleast 20+ headsets from varying price ranges such as the Logitech g435, cloudx gaming headset, razor wired gaming headset, pulse 3d ps5 headset and multiple others. From all of those the best ones were the pulse 3d but they were 100$!!!!!!So very expensive but also really only worked with the ps5 which was the only con. All the other headsets always had problems whether it was the clear lack of sound quality when wanting to listen to music while gaming or didn’t connect seamlessly or just flat out bad quality for my head. I’ve tried the first version of gtheos and remembering loving the music quality the mic quality was okay nothing crazy and the comfort was GREAT. I got rid of it due to losing the mic (I found it later on) and decided to find headsets with longer battery life or something but all the others claimed to have 80+ hours were all shams and didn’t last longer than 8-10.I decided to go back to gtheos and see they had a newer version.LET ME TELL YOU THIS VERSION IS HANDS DOWN GREATEST HEADSET EVER. The build quality reminds me ALOT of the pulse 3d headset which WAS EXCELLENT SO I LOVE THE COMFORT OF THIS. The mic quality is significantly better than before to the point it’s better than my actual dedicated microphone I use.The sound quality is EVEN BETTER. These headphones GET LOUD!!!!! I love that. The bass is genuinely impressive getting compared to my Sony xm4s.And mind you I got this headset for 37$ AFTER TAX. I would BUY THIS AGAIN JUST TO SUPPORT.I love this headset. The dongle works amazingly which is what I’m the biggest fan for in headsets is it being wireless since I hate having to drag a cable around.Skip the other headsets NOW GET THIS ONE NOW. Genuinely no bias my favorite headset ever and would recommend to anyone who likes to game but also likes to listen to music as well along with great comfort and even some sick leds.If you’re wondering why I didn’t get headphones instead it’s because the game sound quality sucks like my xm4s for exampleI put a video of the sound quality on a song just to show how loud they really are!
