I haven't transplanted any of these to the garden yet (zone 6b), but I am impressed with the germination and the vigor of the plants. They are big enough to get some sun time now and will be ready to go in the garden in about 2 weeks. ALL the varieties did extremely well during germination, meaning from the one order I purchased, I now have 120 viable plants! I saved a few seeds from the packets back in case things went wrong, so the number of plants could have been higher. I planted 120 seeds; I got 120 plants. Being that they are heirloom seeds, I will have plenty of these varieties next year. If they put out different varieties next year, I will definitely be buying them!

I planted several of these this year and got a 98% germination from them. I experimented when transplanting from seedling trays by mixing soil with Miracle Gro for some of them and doing a compost/soil mixture with the others. The Miracle Gro tomatoes outgrew the others substantially! It’s the first time I’ve ever planted tomatoes so this was pretty cool to see.

Just started Ace 55, Roma, Brandywine, Black Krim and cherries indoors in cell starters with humidity domes. Not terrific germination rate but there are enough seeds to try again in the empty cells so I'm not too put off. Plan to start some others in the package a bit later. Will update then.

I purchased this variety pack because it contained black cherry tomato seeds (my favorite of the cherry tomatoes)...as well as Purple Cherokee and Black Krim...and two types of tomatillos. These are varieties I can't get at the market, usually. There are certainly varieties in this assortment that are familiar and popular to many people. There are small tiny cherry tomatoes and tomatoes which are very much like you'd buy at the grocery store, too...but, eating them fresh from the garden is a different experience. If you like tomatoes and would really like to try some other varieties in your garden next year...you might want to consider this variety pack. It includes both determinate and indeterminate types of tomatoes. I have a small garden, so I prefer tomato plants that continue to fruit throughput the season, so having the indeterminate varieties labeled was a plus. Saved me time looking each heirloom variety up. I'm impressed. Five stars. .
