This is normal. The home intercom screen has a protective film. If undesired, you may peel it off.

Q: Why does my intercom make that loud static/screeching noise?

These intercoms feature sensitive built-in mics and speakers. Maintain 8+ ft between units - closer distances may cause that high-pitched squeal at louder volumes. For clearer operation, use volume setting 3-4 or increase spacing slightly if needed

Q: Why did some functions disappear after the power failure？

After power failure, the automatic answering function, mute function, and replay function of the intercom need to be reset

Q: Why doesn't the intercom have an automatic answering function?

This feature needs to be turned on by the customer. Press and hold the 'VOL- key' until the dial icon appears in the lower right corner.
