Flame Toys - Transformers - Starscream, Furai Model Kit

Had a ton of fun building this one. It's a very cool anime-esque Starscream design and I love it. The posability is pretty good too.My only criticisms for this particular kit is that parts of the legs feel a bit too weak and flimsy. This isn't a huge issue if you are careful with his legs but I do wish we got ball joints for his legs like the G1 Optimus kit. My other criticism is that his torso is prone to coming off unless you glue it.Other than those two issues, this kit is great.

This is my 2nd model figure I purchased from Flame Toys. I only started doing crafting figures since doing this pandemic. It is relaxing & fun. So much so that I pre-ordered two more of their models(G1 Optimus Prime & IDW Deception Version Megatron).Now that I have done two and am confident in making Flame Toys Model Sets, I plan to do my next ones with super glue so they have better durability. I suggest the same once you are comfortable in your ability.I also must recommend a modeler basic tool kit for this and many model kit. It will allow the safe and precise removal of parts from their plastic mold sets & the placement of stickers on your model.

Came together pretty easily, definitely worth putting him in your collection.Be careful, his knee is made of a flexible rubber and broke on me. Pose him and leave him alone.

Great looking kit for sure and building Starscream is awesome since he's one of my favorite Decepticons.However a few criticisms is that the pictures for the steps could be a bit more clear (especially for the smaller parts). Also the kit will recommend to glue some parts together that snap pretty well, and then for the backpack thruster it doesn't suggest to glue it all when it absolutely needs to. Otherwise the pack will fall right off his back.Otherwise it looks pretty great without painting since it kind of accentuates the fact he's from an animation.

As the title said, I absolutely love this model. Starscream is my favorite Transformer and this model breathes so much life into him. At this price point especially, you can't really get any better. I am a novice model builder, and this was certainly my most challenging to this point, but the instructions are straightforward and easy to understand, and my only gripe is them failing to mention that the wings and back absolutely need glue to stay on. That's an easy enough fix, though, and once that's done you have a wonderful model sure to spice up any geek's room or living space.

Pretty good quality.Some parts were quite hard to assemble and extremely small, but otherwise it's great.It was suprisingly fun to paint.

First time, love this figure and how very detailed, possible. I will be buying some more figures, just wish it wasn’t Lao pricey.
