When my son was a few months old, we noticed him straining to poo with increasing discomfort... it was really making him upset. After adding these drops to his routine, he became much more regular. His poo was much runnier (and kind of sweet-smelling, which surprised me), but he wasn't straining anymore, so I counted it as a win! I suppose this wouldn't work too well for people who exclusively breastfeed (and don't pump). Once our son started trying solid food, we occasionally added drops of this to his food, but it's not as obvious to me that it has the same effect as adding the drops to pumped milk. That probably has to do more with all the food that doesn't make it into his mouth though!

I barely have words for this. I’ve been dealing with severe constipation with my 10 month old and this made a world of difference within hours. Our pediatrician had recommended miralax, I wanted to avoid that due to things I had read and wanted to go a more natural route. I had ended up doing the MiraLAX at one point and it didn’t help much.
