Look i kmow it says nondark hair but i say bs. This thing is a champion. It lasts for 30 minutes of continulous fire and sits for 10. It is a little big but makes up for it in both comfort from its chilling affect. As far as its brightness use the glasses because thisnthing WILL blind you without laser glasses and direct exposure. It is a little thick but it works good. Burns through bkack hair roots, and is working on me really well. Time will remove all my hair.

Presentation wise this looked great in the way it came boxed so it delivered on aesthetics but the device itself has yet to deliver on it's one and only purpose. It's been a few weeks of continued use and I'm still not seeing any difference in growth. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect an outright disappearing act, least of all in such time, but I was certainly expecting some slowed growth, yet visibly nothing appears to have changed. Like at all. I followed all of the instructions - which if I'm being honest were not vaugue at best - so I don't believe it to be a matter of user error. To add to the whole not actually doing what it's supposed to do thing, one of the the main reasons I opted for this device over some of the more highly rated competitors was for its cooling feature. Unfortunatly this too was a bust, though I'm admittedly unsure if the feature in general is just not all it's touted to be or if the feature is just poorly implemented in this specific device because it's wildly inconsistent at best. It will work a few times for the briefest of seconds and then just not work at all. Also worth noting, the device feels uncomfortably bulky, girthy and weighty (which is at odds with it also looking and feeling cheap) in-hand which makes for a poor user experience for those of us with smaller hands as having a secure and comfortable grip on the device is pretty much an essential component to its overall functionality. I'd argue that it may even be the most important factor to consider before using because no matter how good of job the device does the experience will not be great if the fit in hand isn't comfortable. I've also noticed the device gets rather warm the longer it's in use within a single session which is somewhat concerning considering the sessions are not even that long. Overall, this product hasn't done anything to inspire confidence in it actually working which sucks because a product like this is more than just an investment of money as it also requires investing of your time and trust. So now I'm ultimately left feeling like I've wasted not only my money but also hours and weeks of my time and life.

I previously purchased an older version of this IPL device from the same brand and used it for about three months. I saw great results and was very happy with how effective it was. However, that version did not have a cooling feature, and shortly after, I found out I was pregnant, so I stopped using it. Now that I’m about to give birth and planning to start this journey again, I was so excited to see that this new device includes a cooling effect. This was exactly what I was hoping for, since the older one could be uncomfortable at times. I’ve already purchased this new version and I’m really excited to start using it.
