Great grease and hard to find

Works well

I use this for lubricating the teeth on my click and pawl fly reels. Works very well and stays put in the water. Easy to remove and re-grease at the end of the season. Seems less inclined to pick up dirt and grit and doesn’t break down and run the way thinner alternatives do. You can lay a very thin line across the teeth and it stays in place (I use a plastic syringe). I understand this is the same product that several of the high-end U.S. fly reel manufacturers use on their click and pawls out of the factory. I’m currently searching for other household and shop uses since this is about a hundred lifetimes’ worth of grease if you’re only lubricating reels.

Did they job

The product is great, but may need to packaged better to avoid damage. The tube was crushed at the top and some grease was pushed out.

Good quality

This is my go-to grease for my snowmobile track linkage and my truck's driveshaft zerks. Nice and tacky, and washout/water resistant. Compatible with the vast majority of other grease chemistries.

Perfect

exactly as prommissed

First tube of XHP 222 did not have the right grease in the tube. Grease was red and XPH 222 is blue. Second tube was perfect.
