great little pocket radio.
very easy to use, very lightweight, and really long battery life! charge lasts for 5-6 days at 2-3 hours per use. I didn't like the headphones that came with it and replaced them with better headphones. sound is great and quite loud at max volume. only a couple places where reception gets hinkey but that's not the little radio's fault. after the first use, the buttons are easy to use without looking at the radio and, while the user guide could be more descriptive, the station programming process takes no time at all. recharging is an easy process (radio to cable to USB). I leave it plugged in overnight every sunday so I don't know how long it actually takes to charge (or if different days work better)!! I am happy with this radio-let!

The customer service is amazing!
I wanted a small radio when I was working in a remote location by myself. I looked at all the available units and finally decided on this one. It is very small - less than the size of a credit card, and about 1/4" thick. I used it with earphones, and plugged it into a rechargeable speaker when I was inside. Both worked well. It did acceptably well in reception, picking up a few stronger stations on AM and on FM.It was only able to use a 9 Khz station gap on AM (the US uses 10 Khz), which was frustrating. However, I wrote the seller, and got a personalized response very quickly with detailed instructions on how to change it to 10 Khz steps. (In fairness, the instructions were also explained in the brief user's "manual" that came with the radio.) The reply was prompt, thorough and considerate. I was deeply impressed.Pro: * Small size -- easily fits in a pocket.* Decent battery life.* Locking function to prevent accidental button presses in your pocket.* Large number of memory presets.* Scanning function.* Decent display -- informative of all functions.* It can be used with an external speaker (but, requires a cable -- no bluetooth).Con: * Scan function clears all presets on that mode (AM or FM), and fills them with found stations (or, strong static). This means you lose any presets you have manually entered.* You cannot directly enter a memory. You must scroll through them to get the one you want.* You can tune frequencies manually, but you cannot directly enter a frequency. The Pro's outweigh the Con's for me. I do not normally give a 5-star review. What tipped it for me was two things: 1) It met my needs quite well. 2) The customer service was far more than I had expected. Especially because of their service, I would buy this, or another product, from them again!

Like the radio but the battery doesn't recharge! Update: New one works!!
I really like the way the radio works in general. Very easy to program, etc. Sound quality is decent for a small radio. My only issue is with the battery. It never actually recharged fully and, therefore, doesn't last long. Started out holding a charge for a few days (I only used it about an hour a day during my gym time) but now only stays on for about 15 minutes. Such a shame as I really like how it fits in my pocket. Ear buds that came with it are poor quality so I use my own. I may try to return it for a new one, in case it's just the battery.Update: Returned the original and was sent replacement immediately! Battery charged just fine on the new one and works like a charm! May buy another one for travel!!

Tiny and powerful
I bought this radio to listen to baseball games. I like to listen to the play by play while at the stadium and this radio is perfect, as it’s tiny. I sometimes fit it in my baseball cap when I’m sitting, that’s how small it is. It is the size of a credit card and about half a finger thick. The reception works great and I haven’t had a problem, though I mostly listen to AM.The battery life will last me 2 or 3 full baseball games, which for it’s size is pretty amazing. It is charged via mini USB, so no batteries needed.

Good unit in small package
I like the size of the radio and the quality of the sound for such a small unit. I would prefer an analog type volume dial that would work when the controls are locked since I find it necessary to frequently vary the volume while walking to hear properly. The reception of AM is not quite as good as on my Sony Walkman pocket radio, so that could be better. I like the many features, but find them a little cryptic to remember easily.

very poor reception
I purchased this radio mainly for listening while walking in my suburban community and had poor experiences with the radio's reception. For every couple of steps with very good reception, I'd get just white noises for couple of steps. The good reception rarely kept for a dozen feet or so distance I walked. I only listen to NPR (FM 90.9 to be specific) and had to stop walking if I needed to keep listening to a program without interruptions. I also tested the ratio in other areas outside my community, such as train stations, city (Philadelphia), and got the same poor experiences. I never had problems with my car radio in all those areas. I decided to purchase the radio because I read one review that said the signal is as good as the reviewer's car radio. Initially I also thought the display surface could be easily scratched because one day I noticed a scratch, but it turned out that the scratch was on the protective screen cover which I failed to notice earlier and didn't remove. I'm really puzzled that how good and bad receptions would alternate every couple of steps I walked. I wondered if my unit happened to be defective, but I got no response when I sent Jesson my feedback.

Better than an iPod.
My iPod was stolen at the gym, then I borrowed someone else's older version of iPod. It finally broke. Bought this AM/FM radio after reading the reviews. I take 1-2 hour walks every morning. This am/fm radio is still going strong after 4 walks. I only listen to the radio so this was the perfect gift to give myself. It is also small enough to fit in my short pocket. Love, love, love it! Comes with it's own ear buds and charger. You just need to plug it into your wall charger (not included). Just what I wanted! Highly recommend. Oh also delivered in record time and I am NOT an Amazon prime customer.
