Very sturdy. I like that this is not flexible like some of the other ones on Amazon. It gives you better control of the dogs.

Makes Walking the Dogs Easy
I was a little nervous buying this because I intended to use it for my older dog and a new puppy. It turned out to be a great training aid for the puppy who is learning how to take civilized walks because his dad (the older dogs) forces him to. Very little lunging, swerving, hanging back, etc. The puppy just gets pulled along and very quickly learned to follow. Much much easier than walking an adult dog and a puppy using two leashes. The only drawback to this are the bathroom breaks, but that's not the products fault. Fortunately the older dog is well trained and can be off leash while he goes. But I still carry a four foot nylon leash with me too in case it makes sense to separate the dogs.This is a heavy coupler so not for smaller dogs.

I am using it to have my 50+ and 60+ lbs dogs running along the bicycle and it works great. However
It is very well built. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a horse. With that said, it also is heavy. I am using it to have my 50+ and 60+ lbs dogs running along the bicycle and it works great. However, it is not appropriate for smaller dogs.

Top notch leather
What can you really say about two pieces of leather on a coupler besides the leather is great? Have had this product for a long time and it shows zero wear and tear. I have a 60lb dog and a 40lb dog and it works fantastic at keeping them together while freeing up a hand for me. I would buy this product over and over (I'd have to lose the old one first though because it still looks brand new).

I have many dogs (Labs) and like to walk them daily. This is a great accessory as I can walk two at a time. Good quality leather, strong and durable. My dogs are 65 to 80 pounds and this works great for their size. I don't think you will be disappointed.
