The Best Baby Name Book in the Whole Wide World

The book is great! but Amazon & paper back books are VERY bad combo!!! because they don’t care if they treat them like crap so they look like crap!!! Any other company would’ve listed these is imperfect & discounted, Amazon throws them in a box (doesn’t bother to protect them) & chargers us full price!!! So we either get to go through the hassle or returning them or get stuck & deal with it!!!

Fun and informative look at the origin of a tremendous number of names and their countries of origin and the meanings behind the names. Also gives variations of the names.

Not very detailed but it was cheap so what do you expect. For the price, it's nice.

Everyone was passing around this book. It was a great little book for an expecting Mom,Dad and extended family.

As odd as this sounds, page 22 (which is the 2nd page of baby girl names starting with A) is completely blank....I have purchased this book several times for others and this is the first time pages were blank, very odd...

I love this book. It has been updated, so it is a little different than the one made in 2015. I didn't like how the second page of girl names was missing, but I can fix that with my book that I got in 2015. This book doesn't have the birthstones and flowers of the month, but we didn't look for them in the older book anyways, so I'm still happy with this one that I just bought.

This book is absolutely terrible. Two major issues: 1) in the beginning of the book, there is a list of boys/girls names with positive or negative connotations. I can only guess that the names with "negative" connotations are a list of people that the author dislikes. The negative connotations include: fat, overweight, ugly, loud, etc etc. It reads like a burn book list of names from Mean Girls. Incredibly immature. 2) the given meanings with the list of both boys and girls names are not at all accurate. There are both historical inaccuracies, and meanings that appear to be just randomly assigned. This book is crap on a stick. Useless, don't buy it.

We absolutely love how many names are in this book we have so many names picked out. We are torn.

not up to date wouldn't recommend.
