Wide Open: A Life in Supercross – The World Champion's Autobiography and Insider Guide for Aspiring Extreme Sport Racers Review: Good book from - Good book from, and about a motocross legend. McGrath changed the sport, and made it what is today. He named a journalist that did him wrong by leaking early information that was told in a confidential conversation. Not cool! I have since cancelled my subscription to the magazine he is affiliated with. Review: Great Book! - The book was delivery very fast and in great condition! This book really brought me back to the days of watching Supercross growing up. Really gives you a great perception of what the pros have to go through to make it to where they are.

Good insights but poorly edited
I liked some of the stories and information, but it was tough to make it all the way through. It read like a lightly edited transcript. Some of the little asides seemed to be geared towards kids, but that didn't seem to fit too well with the occasional f-bomb and frequent talk of partying and "hot chicks". I would have given this 1 or 2 stars, but considering he's not a professional writer, I thought Jeremy did a good job putting it all together. A good editor could have made this 100 pages shorter and orders of magnitude better. It's not his fault that the publisher did not give it a thorough (any?) editing.

Best Autobiography I have ever read!!!
I grew up watching JM rise to glory from his amateur years all the way till today. This book certainly fills in the gap perfectly as to what this sport and the people around it really are. I have never in my life enjoyed a book as much as this one. Career record for me to read 297 pages in 2 days. Thanks for all the memories Jeremy.

Bought this to replace a copy I loaned to a friend years ago and never saw again. Great book and the little text insets on riding technique are awesome.
