It works ! Watch like new
Lots of reviews out there on this and good videos on utube . I successfully changed my battery myself and it did not leak afterward when I used it in water . I did buy the sealant recommended on a utube video . I did the repairs approx 3-4 months ago . Made my watch like new . The watch was running out of power quickly and shutting down before I did the battery replacement . If u take your time u can do it . I did use a regular blow dryer to loosen the sealant to open the case . I also used an infrared temperature gun to measure the heat to make sure I did over heat the watch to damage it . I also wanted to know the temp because the utube video did mention a temp to hit but I can not recall what that temp was . I recommend this kit and would buy again

This battery saved the life of my series 2 watch that I have been wearing for almost 7 years!!!!
FLAWLESS INSTALL!First, I highly recommend purchasing a pry tool if you don’t already have one.Install went great, I didn’t even need the replacement gasket the battery comes with. Watch YouTube videos and pick the one that most closely seems to work for you and your style of doing things. Have it open while you’re doing the repair so you can quickly reference each step.I allowed it to fully charge overnight which also allowed my B7000 glue to dry.Battery life is more than 10 hours…. I can’t say how much more because I take it off after about 10 or 11 hours. This battery saved the life of my series 2 watch that I have been wearing for almost 7 years!!!!

Battery replacement
So I got this hoping it would just go in the Watch charge up and work but no I replaced the battery put it on the charger and my watch no longer cycles on it just flashes the Apple symbol on and off so complete wast of time and money. Maybe it’s not the battery but before I replaced it the Watch worked fine

Very difficult to open watch
This kit includes a standard razor blade to pry the glass cover from the watch. The blade chipped during the process and scratched the edges of the watch case. A tool specifically designed for this purpose should be included rather than a razor blade. The kit also doesn’t mention that the watch face needs to be heated to about 160 degrees (according to a YouTube video) to soften the glue. I did this with a heat gun and laser temperature gauge. Many people may not have this equipment.Aside from this, pay very careful attention to the instructions and watch some videos and the rest of the process will go okay.

Works
Works and was quite simple to do. If the battery fails quickly I will lower this.

Good for a month or so, but didn't last long
Installed this battery on my Series 4 Apple watch after the watch was over 5 years old. I usually wear the watch all day, starting about 6am. The kit was complete, though installation is a bit intimidating. For the first month of use, the new battery would be at around 40% by around 8pm. I would have rated 5 starts at this point. Alas, after about 1 month of use the battery percentage progressively got shorter and shorter.I tried fully resetting the watch, unpairing and repairing, turning off every setting possible to reduce drain, but at about 5pm, it is around 25%. By 8pm it is dead.Strange that the battery health setting in Apple watch show that the battery health is still at 100%.Since I cannot find any battery drain or helpful settings on the Apple watch itself, I can only blame the new battery as the cause.

Nerve racking to replace but worth it
Tough to remove display. I had no luck with xacto blades and it wasn’t until I found a slim pry tool I had around like the ones used in most of the videos on you tube did I have any luck. Popped right open then. I’d recommend purchasing something like that when replacing battery. Like this https://www.amazon.com/Opening-Flexible-Stainless-Spudger-Electronics/dp/B0B9M43TFF/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1WUW4AOAPC6P5&keywords=Thin+pry+lcd&qid=1673118451&sprefix=thin+pry+lcd%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-4. Also recommend some kind of magnification. Very fiddley, but if you have the nerve, do it. I went from 2 to 4 hours to still having 35% after wearing more than 10 hours.
