Great Monitor, Beginner Set up
This is the first monitor I ever had for my gaming set up. The monitor came in its protective packaging with no issues. Came with everything needed. I’ve had this monitor for over a year already and it works as intended and never had any problems. Recommended as it has great price value.

great price value and fell of my desk but works
I don't know too much about monitors but I am very happy with this one. the display is great and it is adjustable in height in rotation. it also fell off my desk onto the floor and survived without a scratch. 180hz as advertised

Despite the 4-star rating, this is a great bang for the buck display
I needed a new display. Only having a RTX 3060, I was going to stick with 1920x1080 and 24 inches. I spent quite amount of time looking for a display that had everything I wanted in it, mainly the res, size, and being height adjustable were deal breakers, and ideally wanted speakers and pivoting. I preferred IPS but VA wasn't totally out of the question. I knew the Monitors Unboxed YouTube channel seemed to like Pixios somewhat for this range and they tested fairly well, so I looked at them but was disappointed their recommended PX248 Prime Advanced didn't have height adjustment. Purely by chance I looked at the Pixio product page and saw the PX248 Pro listed, I hadn't seen this model listed when I searched for 24" 1080 displays on Amazon. I found it by searching by name and was happy to see it ticked all the boxes. Even better, I waited another week and Pixio had a sale, making the PX248 Pro only $135! So that sealed the deal and I ordered. The stand for the display seems very sturdy, made of metal with plastic covering. Well made for the price. The package included a 1.5m (nearly 5 feet) DP cable (I ended up ordering my own because I wanted just a little more cable) and uses a "wall wart" type AC adapter for power. You might have to plan for that if you don't have the free space for an adapter, though it was fine for me. The screen arrived with zero pixel defects. The red seems a tad strong, I adjusted it down a little for me, but the colors look good. The cons - a few things kept it from me giving it a 5 star. The speakers are terrible. My previous display had speakers and I used them all the time, they sounded pretty decent. These ones, I'd have to say barely usable. Fine for system noises, but not so much media. So I'm having to pull out an old pair of good speakers from retirement to use again. The screen does have some light bleed in the bottom corners, this is what made me consider if I was going to send the display back the most. I've decided it's not something that reminds me it's there, so I can live with it, especially for the price. And don't forget to turn the brightness down after you get it, as usual for tv/displays, it comes nearly maxed. There's a few minor esthetics I'd have liked changed, I'm not crazy with the power light being on the right side of the display and more importantly that it blinks amber when in stand-by (why blinking?? Just make it solid on) and I don't like that there's no dedicated power button. If you want to turn off the display, you have to press and hold the multi-function button for 3ish seconds (the instructions weren't clear on this, just that you could turn it off with it). It's not something I'll need to do often, but once in a long while I may leave the computer on to do something overnight and I want to make sure the display won't turn on. So overall, I'd say a good display for $169, a great one for $135. The PX248 Pro is a good, cheap gaming display. Just don't plan to rely on the speakers.

Great Purchase if you're starting your set up!!
For the price, it's a great deal for console gaming and MacBook display. It's Hz are great, very consistent. After 2-3yrs of use, various hours, probably over 100hrs of use, it's still holding strong, colors are still good, 120hz on Xbox Series X Digital Version still performing well. Colors are brighter although I recommend looking up settings for the colors and such. Now, the most recent bad thing that has happened, after this much time of use, the screen flickers sometimes when it's too dark. But still, for 120-130?!? GREAT DEAL!! If you want to gift someone this monitor, it's a great choice! If you're starting your set up it's a great start and future proof.

Good, but lacking future support
So I'd say I've used the set of these monitors long enough to have an accurate review of them. Overall they've worked pretty well for me since I bought them on September 26, 2021. Pretty good picture quality for 1080p pretty good for competitive FPS games etc with its 144hz & 1ms response time. But more recently I've run into the issue of it going completely black on me.. now I know that my new 6700xt isn't at fault with its drivers fully up to date so I proceeded to replace the display cables and make sure they had enough slack to not cause such blackouts while I was mid-game/movie/work-related environment; unfortunately, after taking all the above steps drivers, cabling, etc I still had the issue. Now it may not have been often but it was several times a week. Also when I have the monitor clocked at 144hz in certain games it causes any motion within the application to result in a black screen whereas repeated restarts would eventually fix it or lower my refresh rate down to a measly 60hz... which kind of defeats the purpose of my buying these gaming monitors. I started checking out the monitor's internal menu and noticed that the firmware was still on V1.0. I scoured the internet and pixios site and couldn't find a lick of information on the issue or the lack of updates. I proceeded to email their customer service to ask if I was just missing where the firmware was listed or if it was EOL. They got back to me and said they don't allow customers access to firmware or potential updates past what they're initially shipped with. I'm going to use these monitors til they die but past that I can't recommend another pixio product if they don't allow paying customers access to any kind of self-service support. I'm not shipping two monitors to who knows where for firmware updates especially on my dime. It's not realistic and not a good way to build more than one-off customers. In conclusion, they're good enoough, but I'd have gone with another brand if I could do things over.

monitor was great but it died within 2 months of using it, contacted support and went through RMA process, told me it was a board issue and is replacing my monitor with a new one. Shipping was all paid for by Pixio, great customer support!!!

This is a brilliant monitor! I have this connected to my Xbox Series X and allows me to play optimised games at 120fps. A nice crisp 1080p panel provides a great picture for any game I have thrown at it. I also have this monitor connected to my laptop as an extended display. There have been no problems so far with this monitor and it is worth every pound, a great cheaper solution for your work/play needs!

I bought this monitor because it came highly recommended on YT -especially by Optimum Tech and Consumer Tech Reviews. I've had it for close to a month now and it really delivers on quality especially at such a low price. Colors are nice and accurate, refresh rate goes up to 165Hz with the included display cable, the brightness is decent, and the stand is top tier in my opinion. The viewing experience is great and so far, I'm happy with the purchase. The monitor has some in-built speakers which aren't the best but get the job done. You get your money's worth there. No issues so far, great monitor at a great price.
