Very strong! Saved me over $200
I have a 15 yr old range hood that has 2 SS baffle filters. The plastic latch on each deteriorated so the front end wouldn’t stay up. New baffle filters were $140 each. So I thought it was worth a try to see if magnets would hold them up. First, I confirmed magnet would stick to my stainless. Then I got the largest size that would fit, and put them inside the hood, along the hood/baffle frame. They were strong enough to keep the filter up pulling thru one layer of stainless (see screwdriver pic). I put two in the front edge, would have been plenty , but since I had 12, I then put another on the inside edge, so used 3 per filter. Definately 3 was overkill, but don’t need the filters crashing down on my induction cooktop. Warning: these are STRONG magnets so when you seperate them- keep them 12” away from each other or they will slam back together. I chipped one corner learning this, but still used it as the magnet was hidden. ALSO, if you separate from each other- and don’t use them all, KEEP THE SPACERS BETWEEN THEM. If you don’t, they will be very difficult to seperate. Yeah, they are that strong. Given the size and weight, they are far stronger than imagined. And saved me $200 by not having to buy new baffle filters.

As Described!! Black Magnets for Metal Surfaces
Pros: These are slightly thicker than the .3 versions and I find them sturdier and yet still easy to slide one over to separate from the pack provided you do it with the plastic divider at the same time. I use them to attach a screen to my apartment black metal storm door that has a deadbolt lock meant to keep intruders out and it does a good job of that. However, its' scroll design does nothing to keep flies, gnats, or spiders from entering so I purchased a screen netting and attached it with these magnets every few inches. It works well enough but because the storm door itself doesn't fit snugly on the top or bottom threshold it's not foolproof. Sure does help a lot though, especially whenever I'm cooking in the summer and must leave the front door open for fresh air! I'm willing to pay more for the black ones because it looks a lot better when everything matches or blends in with the decor. Con: These last better than the plain steel versions, but rust will still eat any finish that's painted on magnets in about a year where I live. It's the salt air and constant moisture that comes in off the ocean that is hard on both cars, metal outdoor furniture and that's just the way coastal weather is, not the fault of the products. Aluminum and stainless steel do better, but are also more expensive so you have to decide what you think is best for your situation. They are exactly as described, adhere well to most things, and although they come with an adhesive strip for when you don't have metal to attach them, I've never used them for that purpose. Can't comment on it because I rent and we're not allowed to damage the wall with adhesives or nails. Caution: Not for people that have pacemakers because it may interfere with the safe operation of them. I have no idea how strong magnets are that affect pacemakers, but it would be helpful if the seller and/or manufacturers could comment on that.

Neodymium magnets are fragile ~ at this thickness, very fragile.
What I like about these magnets ~ • Black epoxy coating is perfect for my current application. The typical, raw, bright silver finish would not have worked for my project. • As expected, these magnets are very strong for their size. Strong enough to destroy themselves if care is not taken while handling them. (we are only human ~ ordering more than the exact number needed is wise: "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it"). • The included adhesive strips are pre-cut to size, saving time. What I don't like ~ • At this length with this thin dimension, the inherently fragile magnet material is VERY fragile. It's common for neodymium to snap when attracted to another magnet but these will snap if you are not careful enough on setting them to a metal surface. If a project allows for it, a thicker dimension will be less fragile and be easier to work with. • I had assumed that the foam adhesive was already mounted to the magnets in the stack but this is not the case. As depicted in the picture, the magnets come with a piece of plastic separating them from one another and the foam adhesive is separate and must be affixed by the user ~ Affixing the foam adhesive to the top magnet in the stack and then placing that magnet (vs separating from stack before applying) was the easiest way I could find to handle this step.

Strong magnet
Very strong magnets for their size. Very good product.

These were exactly as described. Excellent product.
O**.
As can be seen in the photo I used them to keep my bits visible and little bit more organized, it keeps them afloat but the bigger items are not staying in their location because the wood in between weakens the flux. So as you can see I put 2 visible to hang bigger parts. I am giving these 5 stars because it was whatever I was expecting. And because I read the reviews before purchase I wanted to clear somethings, These are 3 mm thick bars, you need to be careful to separate them from each other, because the material can break easily, especially these thin ones. Neodymium is not a strong material, coating keeps it together. If you need extra strong you need to go with 5mm thick ones.

As described, magnets are very powerful despite their small size. They come packaged with small dividers between them so they are easier to separate. They are also priced well. Would buy again

Top parfait pour fabriquer mes rideaux de van, s'insèrent parfaitement autour des vitres. Il y a une petite pièce en plastique entre chaque aimant bien utile. Attention s'attirent très fort les uns les autres, se cassent du coup !
