I thought I had a favorite pen, and then I got these which swiftly became my new favorite. Pros: I appreciate the color and construction of the metal pen body. It looks somewhat iridescent and feels a bit heavier than my usual pen (Bic Gelocity). The ink is refillable. Writing with the pen is really smooth, and there are no skips in the ink. The ink dries really fast and does not smear once dry. As advertised, there really is no click when you press the clicker, and it functions exactly as advertised. I wasn't sure how I'd like the button being flat, but it turns out I like it a lot and use the pen like a fidget as well. The texture of the pen is smooth and rather sleek. I've included a picture of the pen with the ink retracted, where you can see that the clip is extended from the body. When you eject the ink tip, that tab retracts into the body. If the pen is on your shirt/lanyard or hooked onto a pocket with that tab, it will prevent the ink from being ejected, therefore preventing accidental ink blots. It's just a really cool design and I will be getting more of these types of pens. Considering the multiple uses and engineering, I think it was well worth the price for me, and I was able to get them on deal as well. Cons: while the body of the pen is made of lightweight metal, the clip seems to be made of plastic. While it doesn't seem cheaply made, I can see how that clip might be a weak point due to the plastic material used for it. It isn't influencing my rating yet, as there hasn't been a problem yet, but I'll provide an update if it malfunctions or breaks. The grip part of the pen has some texture, but is otherwise just metal. I am on the lookout for some grips that would provide a little cushion.

This pen is a real beauty and its design is unique and makes writing effortless. As a nurse, I can't tell you how many doctors have tried to steal this pen. I can see it in their eyes when they ask to "see" my pen. They are formulating a plan for capture and all throughout rounds, I can see them glance at it out of the corner of their greedy, squinty, pen-stealing eyes. I can see their Attending physician watching them mentally drool over the thought of power they could attain with the presence of this pen in their little, illegally unsanitized, vector hands. The Attending physician has tried, unsuccessfully, to "borrow" this pen "real quick" and the pain of the memory, and their failure, flashes across their face for a split second. The look is replaced with a last, wistful, loving glance and Attending rips his eyes away from his lost love and tries to silently convey his order to "stand down," but Resident misses the silent communication altogether and makes his pathetic, unoriginal, and tired move. Resident chuckles quietly and remarks, "huh, my pen isn't working," and looks up expectantly awaiting my submission, underestimating my resolve. Attending and I silently acknowledge with a quick nod, that this is not the day. Attending knows that it will never be the day--I will keep watch and I will go on, unafraid, with this pen clutched at my side as long as I am alive and breathing, protecting it's existence forever. Attending passes his personal pen to the surprise of the Resident, whose jaw tightens with frustration and disappointment. With a deadlock grip, I make it through rounds with the pen intact and I can see Resident's disgust as his plan turns to dust and disappears in the wind, along with the smell of poop and hospital breakfast. He looks back longingly over his shoulder, searching for the ombre beauty. He listens for the click of the retractable point, but he can't hear it, because it is silent. We lock eyes and as I rip the stethoscope from around my neck, I hold the pen, in a fist, to my heart. In that moment, Resident knows--there is futility in obtaining her because I will search....To the ends of the earth, from the outpatient clinics to the operating room, I will continue to search until I find her and she is back home in my warm, sanitized embrace. I will hunt that sucker down, but....I will allow Resident to live in order to spread the word so that, for generations, others know-DO NOT STEAL A NURSE'S PEN. Anyway....It writes smoothly, very black and very bold ink. I love the silent "clicking" and the entire design of the pen. The only problem I had was one of the ink cartridges was still half full but I could not get the roller ball to write. I just replaced it with a refill that came with a separate 2-pack (pink and blue) plus refills (also recommend).

These are my current New favorite pens. The ink is so dark and comes out so smooth with so little effort!

Love these pens! They have an iridescent look to them, and the colors of the pens are so pretty. I also love the clip that is like a hatch that drops in when you click the pin closed. The pens write very well. This is my second set. I do 💯% recommend!

These pens feel great in my hand. Weighted so evenly. They write so smoothly with no skip or drag which is amazing. I would highly recommend these pens!

Best pens, hands down. I'm VERY picky with my pens and these ones seal the deal for me. They're perfectly creamy yet not streaky, plus they dry very quickly. They have a great weight to them. The colours are a fun add-on.

The pens are really pretty, silent clicker, and comfortable and smooth, but all the pens started getting streaky and light like regular ink not gel. Disappointed about that :(
